Our host - Horatio - made us feel very welcome and informed us very good about the house and environment. The house is a typical, authentic and rustique house and offers enough to have a pleasant stay. The garden is nice and French style. And it is nice to get each morning fresh baked croissants and baquette and jam etcetera. The area is the valley of the river Canche in which you can walk nice trails. And the nearby coastal area offers a great estuarium at the chicque and beautiful town called Le Touquet- Paris Plage. And at Berck you can see many seals. Conclusion: The location of Horatio offers a perfect combination of a nice house, a nice countryside and nice coastal sites with beaches and dunes.

It was clean and spacious, exactly what we needed at the time at a very short notice. It was clean, smelled good, the beds were comfy and it was warm. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

I have stayed at 5 or 6 Gite's in the last 7 weeks and I could not fault the property, the room was first class as was breakfast. I stayed for one night on business, but already planning another stay but for much longer to be able to relax and enjoy both the house and to also to explore the area. John.

We loved la Crequoise immediately. It was perfect for us being on one level and in a beautiful location in the Pas de Calais within reach of attractions we wanted to visit. It is beautifully presented and fitted out and perfect for a holiday. The owners Brigitte and Bernard were perfect hosts. We were there in March and the central heating made the house warm and inviting. The photos do it credit perfectly. The large Carrefour supermarket is a 10 minute drive away and has all you need. Highly recommended.

This is an exceptional place to stay. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped. The owners were so friendly and helpful. The gardens were lovely too. For a February holiday it was lovely, it must be spectacular in the summer. The area is very beautiful.
