A fabulous hotel. So much history to this hotel. We will definitely be back and highly recommend. The staff couldn't do enough for you. So friendly and just lovely. It's refreshing to stay in a hotel where the staff seem happy in their jobs and always smiling we stayed over 2 nights with my brother and his wife and we all loved this hotel. Great location as only 10 mins into city and we visited the fireballs in Stonehaven for Hogmanay as only a 20 minute drive away which was Superb. Definitely be back.

Beautiful location and grounds. Great walks along the river bank and not far from Aberdeen city centre. We only ate breakfast there because we couldn’t take the dog into the bars to eat, but the breakfast was great.

Food is really very good, top restaurant quality. Worth a visit just for that. Room was excellent but by the fire door which banged as people went through it. Countryside location with interesting grounds and riverside walk if you want some fresh air.
