The view was amazing and the host was incredibly kind, accommodating a late check in and offering us espresso when we arrived. I would stay at Hotel Food & Drink again in a heartbeat!

The location is perfect and Maria is a very gracious host. We have strayed here in the past and love it even more each time we visit!

This hotel is amazing, so beautiful, peaceful, and distant from daily contemporary stress. A place to submerge in contemplate nature, while discovering, sounds, colors and relaxing enjoying “ill dolce far niente “. Our hosts Margarita and Antonio were very nice and helpful and prepared a delicious breakfast for us. Early in the morning hundreds of cows pass by the valley down the farmhouse and we can hear their collar bells sound creating a wonderful symphony all over the forest, that experience was magical and unforgettable.

We were pleasantly surprised by this unique historical agricultural property in the countryside. Continental breakfast is served in the main manor and there is a lovely restaurant for dinner on the property, no reservations for guests required. All of the staff were friendly and gracious. We were there at Easter and were surprised to find that this property also serves as a venue for local events. As tourists, we were delighted to gain insight into local customs. Are the rooms slightly dated? A bit, but they were very clean with new bathrooms. We stayed in Room 11. If you need a break from touring cities, you can walk the property, play tennis or swim in the pools. Either way, this is one quiet, restful and relaxing stay.

Good location and nice rooms. Dining room for dinner was really good especially for off season. Italian breakfast served across the street in the cafe. Very kind owners in the cafe.

Room (mini suite) was extremely clean, very large, modern styling - newly renovated. Comfortable bed. Great bathroom setup. Breakfast room is also perfectly clean, spacious, and lovely. Solid flooring throughout (no carpet), which was all exceptionally clean and new looking. Rooftop terrace area is also wonderful. Every personal space and shared space was better than expected.
