Very helpful and amazing hospitality! Both the owner as his mother were very caring people. Our hostess (mother of the owner) had delicious homemade lasagna for us because the stores were closed during Easter. Easter is a huge event in Burgio (and most of Italy) with great traditions and huge fireworks. It was an amazing experience!

It is a beautiful small house in nature, in an olive grove, in complete peace. The entrance to the house is protected by a fence and a gate. We like peace and comfort. Everything exceeded our expectations. The house (interior) is bigger than it looks in the photos. The household equipment including the kitchen, was perfect, nothing was missing for a content use. Sometimes we would sit on the terrace at sunset and listen to the chirping of birds. Often we watched the kittens playing, enjoying the peace and quiet, just relaxing. There are bugnets in the windows. We did sightseeing tours from here without a problem. There are beaches around Sciacci. Filippo is a kind, attentive, caring host who is always willing to help and advise. You can have breakfast in the pizzeria in Burgio. We have been traveling like this for many years and have experienced many accommodations in different countries, but this accommodation ranks among the best we have experienced. Casa vacanze L'ulivo Burgio we would definitely recommend to people who don't want to be disturbed by the sounds of the city and who want to get peace and comfort. This is a fantastic apartment. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and answered all our questions very quickly. The fridge was prestocked with some food items, water, fizzy drinks, some cans of beer, a bottle of Prosecco, eggs, coffee pods for the coffee machine, and chocolate biscuits/bars for breakfast. Which we were not expecting. It is a very modern apartment with Aircon in all rooms, and the shower was amazing. We will definitely be booking this apartment again.

I passed an important birthday with my wife Pat there. Not only that we have been welcomed as old friends, Pepe brought our luggage into his nicect room - a beautiful suite - and offered us a bottle of Champ to celebrate the birthday on the trrrace with magnificant views all arround the village. Evrything just perfect! Pepe and his family owensd as well a beautiful old restaurant (Mates) just some steps away with a delicate menu. Not only the decoration is worth to be admired it is the food. All over excellent and if you like red wine , take the Tancredi. It was the perfect birthday surprise an i thank you very much Pepe to have made our stay so romantic.

What a beautiful city - I am happy we made the stop there. Great views, quite difficult to get there with the narrow steep streets. Easy parking near the B&B. The room was nice. Simple breakfast. We were advised a great restaurant nearby with a high quality of food and service.

Staying at La Casetta was just the most perfect experience for me traveling alone with my two children. The little house is surrounded by other little row houses (as all housing in Caltabellotta) but it is fully modernized and comfortable. Everything was so clean and well-decorated (it looks even better than the photos). The bathroom was beautiful, with a fantastic shower and plenty of hot water. If the weather is cool, there is plenty of heating and a small space heater for the bathroom. The location of the rental house is perfect because it is right above the main street that runs through Caltabellotta (Via Colonello Vita), yet it is sheltered from street noise from its location on a side street. Just a few meters away is a small shop ("sapori") where you can buy plenty of essentials and basic food; close nearby are also a dessert shop with traditional desserts (La Preferita) and a fine restaurant (Osteria Gulèa). The host, Lila, answered all my questions and is a warm, helpful, and extremely kind person. Also, Caltabellotta is a gem: friendly people, authentic culture, and a microcosm of gorgeous natural and artistic wonders. The neighbors will greet you every time you walk by. The shopkeepers will tell you your children are lovely. The view near the house on top of the mountain is AMAZING. We enjoyed our stay in Caltabellotta immensely-- it is the best kept secret in all of Sicily. I wish we could just live there! :D
