The house was clean and offered everything we needed. The location offered a lot of privacy and quiet. We rented some bikes to quickly get to the beach. I especially liked the outdoor patio with a sunroof, a big table and hammock. There usually was a slight breeze from the ocean which made the patio really pleasant even on very hot days.

We loved everything about our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable - both my sister and I had the best night sleep we've had in ages. The room was clean and quiet, with blackout curtains for sleeping and good wifi ... it had everything we could need or want. The robes and complimentary port were very nice touches. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying for both of us (one of us is a vegetarian, the other is not). The property itself is gorgeous. It happened to be a little too cold out to use the pool, but it looked very inviting. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and recommended some beautiful beaches and delicious restaurants for us to check out. Next time I'm back in this area I will definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to all my friends.

I needed to take a break on the fishermens trail to let my feet heal and this was exactly what I needed. it’s nice and private and has everything you need. cute little details too. I felt so recharged after leaving from there.

A tranquil, serene and beautiful small boutique hotel with sharp modern architecture blended with traditional building materials, set amongst beautiful costal grounds. The design, decor, cleanliness, furnishings, gardens and facilities were first rate. The grounds are beautifully planted and tended and the lighting at night is spectacular. The staff were top notch and attentive and the owner was fantastic. Very comfortable and spacious rooms, wonderful tasty breakfasts, great location for superb quiet beaches and plenty of choice for local restaurants serving great seafood and traditional Portuguese dishes. Bicycles provided free for guests were a real bonus. We had a most relaxing four nights at Amaria, it was brilliant.
