Cheap hotels in Ko Samed

We have found our favourite resort in Thailand. It has the most excellent location, equipped with the nicest people I have ever met. The breakfast selection is phenomenal and I love how they usher you in. The rooms are clean and comfortable and they don’t smell like perfume or cleaning products, it smells fresh! We had the best room on the property and the room was huge. They have the cutest little painted signs that warm your heart and describe the flora. Loved watching people play ping pong. And we can’t believe how hard the whole staff work constantly. They set us up with some scooters to explore the island and they were good quality. Words can’t describe how much we enjoyed this resort.

Food selections was pretty good and staff was very helpful.

For a place we booked last minute it was such a great surpise, as its right near the pier I expected it to be noisy and well, not as nice, no beach, on a rocky costal point near the pier, however, it was amazing, half the price of any place else, the rooms are well placed just far away enozgh you get no noise, the rocky front has starirs down from eahc bugalow to the mini beach you can swim from, and you get an amazing view of sunrise from your bed, with no other bungalows at all, its like your own private sea with fishing boats in the distance. Very cool, Staff super helpful, you have your own balcony and hammock, and a breakfast in the morning if you want to pay, but your only 2 mins from the centre with all the restaurants and first sand beach. Great location, super cheap, very private and yes, romantic if your a couple.

Great staff: all were helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with language differences. Breakfast had great options, Thai and non-Thai, and there was plenty. Lots of other food options around, and the island is walkable for many.

we stayed in a private rooms with queen bed, beds were big, very clean, good location, breakfast is a bit expensive, there is laundry nearby, they gave us water and fresh towels everyday, and it is 5min walk from the pier to hostel, and same from the hostel to the beach

Very nice place- it is close to the beach but not overcrowded. The rooms are spacious and clean. Very nice and cozy place.

Great location on koh samed, more European clients than innsome other places we see. very good food, rooms were great we had the beach villa A1 it was amazing value.

Fantastic location, right on its own beach, no close neighbours. Great little bar & restaurant serving excellent local food @ good prices.

Along the main beach but just the right distance from the busiest restaurants. It is a very cozy place and quiet bar in the evening. Good for relaxing. It offers a small but good breakfast (toast, coffee powder and banana). Includes beach bench.

Great value for a budget stay. As advertised - clean and quiet - no bells and whistles, but everything we wanted for a week long stay for a family of 4 with 2 little kids. Space was clean and a short walk to everything we needed from restaurants and cafes and the beach and shopping. Rooms were comfortable and AC worked great. We didn't use the kitchen much at all - ate out everyday. The Property Manager was extremely timely in all our communication and very helpful for the few questions we had.

We stayed four nights at the Ao Cho Grandview Hideaway and we could not have left happier! The staff were super attentive and welcoming, the beach was stunning and the resort facilities immaculate. We loved our meals from the restaurant as well. The location really is a hideaway with private beach access but only a short walk from other beaches and restaurants. Highly recommend, we hope to return again someday :)

Location is very close to the pier but is tucked away in a quiet block so it was very quiet at night. The apartment was good enough for my family of 7. There were 2 ensuite rooms with double beds and 2 single beds with 3 sofa beds in the living room. It's also a short walk to the main beach area. There's a big fridge and a kitchen area with microwave, kettle, steamer and plates, glasses, cups and cutlery.

Amazing hotel! We absolutely loved every minute of our stay there. The rooms are very well thought through. Everything is made with such love and care for the guests. Breakfast is amazing. Every day something new. Fresh and delicious food. Every staff is super friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is superb-between pier and Sai Kiew beach, there are many places to eat and shop at around. We will definitely come back to this exact hotel. Thank you for making our little trip magical 🙏
