Cheap hotels in Colonia Cuauhtemoc, Mexico City

I have been staying at the Maria Cristina for over 30 years. I honestly would never stay anywhere else. I love the beautiful colonial building, the gorgeous use of tiles and carved wood in the lobby, the sweet restaurant and the most wonderful staff both at the front desk and the restaurant. The neighborhood is great. Friendly and pretty and near to the large important street called Reforma. There are always legitimate drivers right outside the hotel, as well as easy access to the double decker “toury” buses. The hotel also has such a pretty garden with a nice bar and outside seating.

The hotel is in a really good spot. Even though it's near everything it's still relatively quiet.The staff are friendly and the breakfast every morning is really good. The gate needs to be opened by a staff member but I never had to wait anymore than a minute, it's perfectly fine. The bed is also huge and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was fabulous. The staff were so kind, welcoming and helpful. The location is fantastic. The area is safe, lively, there are lots of restaurants and cafes around, great traditional food and vibe in general. We loved and appreciated that our suite was ready although we booked it only two hours before showing up. They also kept our things while we explored the city next day after check in.

The apartment was great, everything that we need. The Tv was super big and with netflix and everything you need. It had a kitchen, the bed was comfortable and the location was perfect!! We would highly recommend it!!

The room is very big and clean. Lots of space and a giant bed, which was also super comfy. Bathroom was clean and had everything that was needed. Staff was super helpful and friendly (we did not really have any issues but it was very convenient that reception is open 24/7). Good location - we felt safe at all times. We did not really walk around during night time but never had any issues or unsafe encounters. Breakfast: Lots of options, very fresh and yummy fruit! We could not get enough!

Clean good size room with an open kitchen and private bathroom. The location was great and quiet, easy to reach it by Uber. Staff was great and very helpful in all is day. 24/7 reception to help you with all your needs. It was the best options with high rated reviews and with good price.
