We had a very pleasant stay at the Hongcun Nanhu Lake view hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They greeted us with refreshments on our arrival. They went out of their way to help us with our travel needs. For instance, they arranged a ride share for us so that we can arrive at the Yellow Mountain base the next morning before the first bus gets there to beat the crowd.

Fabulous stay! Beautifully clean, great location for Huangshan Mountain (about 15 mins walk to the buses for the cable cars) and local restaurants and bars. Owner quick responses for any information needed and also organised a car from and to Huangshan North. Good cappuccino too!! Highly recommend.

Our stay at this guesthouse was absolutely perfect and exceeded all our expectations. Our host was simply wonderful and went above and beyond to make our trip to Huangshan memorable. She cooked us delicious and hearty breakfasts every morning, provided us with rides to the mountain entrance, and even drove us to local restaurants for dinner. Her recommendations for the best local places to eat and buy authentic Huangshan tea were invaluable. The accommodation itself was fantastic. We had a very comfortable, large bed and a stunning panoramic view of the mountains from our window. A real highlight was the private jacuzzi in the room – perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The guesthouse also has a lovely, friendly cat that was a delight to come home to. The location is peaceful and about a 20-minute walk from the city center, where you can find numerous restaurants and shops. We would recommend this place 10/10 without any hesitation. The only very minor downside was that the room was a little chilly at times, but it was a small price to pay for such an otherwise flawless experience. We can't wait to return!

The hotel was really clean and comfortable. The hospitality of the staff is top level. Rooms are big enough and beds are comfortable. Bathroom facilities are also clean and seems newly renovated. We stayed as 8 guests from all around Europe, and enjoyed the moment. I recommend other people to stay in this hotel if they are planning to visit Huangshan mountains. Hotel can also supports you to find a shuttle from train staiton or airport or even they will provide a briefing about the trekking routes & rain coats. just inform them about your trip they they will take care of you whole time.

This family-run hotel is an absoulte gem that deserves the highest rating! The owners are the most welcoming hosts you will ever meet :) They did personally introduce us to the local culture, shared the fascinating history of the hotel, and recommended the best sights. We really felt like a part of the family during our stay, and did even get to know their daughter and her Tai Chi master! A clear highlight was a walk with their 3-year dog <3 The location is perfect: a beautiful 10min walk to Hongcun village along a beautiful stone path through the countryside; you can take a DiDi, but you shouldn't:) The path goes through some beautiful rice fields with buffalo, goats and chickens and other animals along the road. There is also a lovely bookstore selling local ricewine nearby. The walk is an experience in itself.
