The guesthouse is a sanctuary of calm. Ahmed arranged a couple of tours / logistics for us. These were fulfilled with good communication and with the mostl loveliest of people (especially captain Ismael!) The stay was a highlight of our journeys so far!

It is easy to get to from the airport and they offer to arrange a transfer for you. The staff are delightful and engaging and really make the stay enjoyable. There is a shared kitchen and they are currently renovating their rooftop and I’m sure it will look excellent when all is said and done.

When we arrived at the ferry dock in Aswan, we were greeted by Ebrahim, the boatman from the guest house. He & his friends/relatives helped to carry our luggages down the stairs to the boat. The boat ride to the guest house was absolutely breathtaking, we were so glad we decided to stay on Elephantine Island. Once we arrived at the guest house, one of the hosts, Omar, invited us to the rooftop to have our welcome drinks. So we sipped our hibiscus tea while enjoying the beautiful view of the Nile River during sunset, it was so serene. We had dinner & breakfast the next day on the rooftop as well, Abu Nasser is an amazing chef! Omar & Abu Nasser were very warm & welcoming, we felt at home right away. The location of the guest house is on the quieter side of Elephantine Island, facing the Aga Khan Mausoleum across the river, it felt very peaceful. There are no cars, tuk-tuks or motorcycles on Elephantine Island, so we walked everywhere, to the ferry dock & to the restaurants. It was honestly a very enjoyable walk because we got to see how some of the locals lived. Our rooms were clean & nicely decorated, each room had the view of the Nile River. The shower pressure & the WIFI were good.

The hotel room was clean and beautiful, with a window overlooking the Nile River. When we arrived, they offered us a welcome drink at the roof. We arranged an excursion to Abu Simbel and an early-morning airport transfer through them. This meant they were available at very early hours to take the boat and help us cross the Nile. We had also arranged breakfast, but since we had to leave very early for Abu Simbel, they packed it for us in a box—an unexpected and very thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated.

The owner was very responsive, making both airport pickup and drop-off smooth and hassle-free. Although the road to the property includes an unpaved section, the excellent service more than made up for it. The accommodation was small but surprisingly beautiful and very clean. On the following morning, we left early for the Abu Simbel tour, and they even prepared a packed breakfast for us. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

This guest house was clean and well located close to the ferry terminal. The place was a bit more expensive than other options but had a modern shower, reliable wifi, and a peaceful rooftop - which were all important to me. Homemade breakfast was simple and the cook even packed sandwich for my very early tour. Mahmoud was super nice and chill, showing a sunset spot and nearby attractions in this lovely nubian village. They had their tour connections, which I didn’t get to use it as I prefer independent travel but could be convenient for those who want tours to explore Aswan. Overall, great nubian experience. Just make sure you take ferry from ‘South’ terminal. Otherwise you will have to walk long in unpaved dirt road.

The place is amazing and clean, and the view is breathtaking. Mohammed and Mostafa are very kind, generous, and genuine people. They helped us with everything from Flueca rides, money exchange, and routes. This is from now on my goto for whenever i come to Aswan.

First of all, i can't describe how much i liked this place. We stayed there for 4 nights. The old man, which was the owner, always had a smily face and contributed to everything we needed. The rooms had a fan in the ceiling and an air conditioner, with a bathroom that has a shower, toilet and sinky with two bars of soap. When we first entered the room, it had a very nice smell. The room contained three beds, a cupboard and a balcony. The thing that i liked ws there was wi-fi, which i couldn't believe since we were in a poor area. It was fast. Also, the view was very amazing with wide angle view of the Nile river and the beautiful greenery. In addition to this, the place was child-friendly and tge roof had a kitchen that was fully-eqquiped. When you are there, you feel the history of the Nubian culture. I really recommend going to this place if you are on a holiday with your family.
