It is situated 400 metres from St Andrews University and features luggage storage space. Outdoor seating allows guests to sit outside and enjoy the good weather. The place was super clean, furbished with great taste, and close to everything (seaside, castle, shops, you name it). A massive plus for the bathroom, which is an absolute « bijou ». The best thing about The Arran though is probably its manager, Angus. He is the best host we’ve had in our 10-day trip across Scotland (and we’ve had great hosts!). He is smart, caring, entertaining, helpful and will give you great suggestions if you just ask him!

Great dinner location and breakfast as well. I ran a zoom call from my room and WiFi was just strong enough. Super location and cosy room. Highly recommend.

The toiletries, the amenities… everything was just as good as any high end hotels. Oh last but not the least, there’s a hot tub in the house you can enjoy.
