Everyone staying in Karpathos, should come to see Olympos and even more to stay there for the night. There is a really special atmosphere at night in Olympos. Village was so quiet. Accomodation is like an old traditional karpathian house , it looks amazing. I slept very well listening only cats/ donkeys. It's like travelling in the past. Very relaxing. Marina and her family are so friendly. They made me feel at home. Also their food was amazing. Meanwhile at the balcony-terrace you can see them cooking your meal and you enjoy the view on the valley. If one day I come back to Karpathos/ Olympos, I will try to stay here again. If you go to Karpathos there are plenty of places to stay on or near the beach but I would highly recommend the traditional village of Olympos, especially if you want peace and quiet amazing views and a more traditional experience. The host was friendly and communicative, and the room was large and comfortable with a spectacular view. There is a small kitchenette for self-catering and a large balcony with comfortable furniture to enjoy the view. Plenty of hot water in the shower since there is a solar water heater. Note that the bed is a traditional style wooden elevated bunk that requires stairs to get in and out of. Olympos village is amazing, full of friendly locals and delicious food at the many tavernas. Highly recommended I will definitely be going back.

The property is beautifully situated atop of a small bluff, steps away from a beach. The surrounding is gorgeous, peaceful and secluded. The room was equally serene, with deco that was minimalist but inviting, combining white walls with earth tone accents (better than shown on pictures, but I was told my room was updated). The bedding was white and very clean; the mattress super comfortable. The view from the balcony was enchanting! Last but not least, Carl and Margot were lovely hosts. They are a wealth of knowledge about the island. They gave me valuable tips as to where to go and when, and all in all, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was super comfortable.
