The property is located on top of the city's 15th century main gate, with great cocktail bars and restaurants just down the stairway. The apartment was an eye candy, we appreciated the meticulous design. It is equipped with brand new (and high quality) appliances, tableware and everything you need to feel yourself at home and to prepare a delicious breakfast from the local market's produce (located just a short walk away). The receptionist/administrators were extremely helpful and nice, they also operate a cellar/wine shop stocked with great wine that we also appreciated. Hvar Hrad is a city of stairs and the entrance to this property is no exception; you'll have to conquer a couple of steep stairways on the way to the flats, take it in mind especially when equipped with heavy luggage.

It's a perfect stay in Hvar for someone looking for a spacious, new and modern looking apartament, up to date facilities, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. Kitchen is fully equiped if you're the cook at home type. There are free, safe parking spaces available at the property. The location itself is a 8-10 min walk from the harbour and old town/city center and a 10 min walk from an amazing small beach inside a small golf with crystal clear perfect blue water but make sure you have some proper shoes as the route is rocky. The balcony view from the penthouse is mesmerising. The owner is a nice, friendly lady.

The view from the apartment is incredible. We had a wonderful stay. The place is as described. We had no issues, and the host was wonderful to work with. We did not want to leave 😔.

This resort has it all and is perfect for families, be it the smallest ones or more grown-up kids (adults will love it too). The resort is eco-friendly, so there's that. The staff is amazing. As I came to breakfast the first morning, I stood there somewhat bewildered as to what was what. But lo and behold. A member of the staff asked if they could show me around. I've never experienced that before. It was not that I got escorted through the lavish buffet, but that the waiter noticed my predicament and acted on it. That is something of note. The food was great, loads of variety. Grilled fish, meat and vegetables, and, of course, easy stuff for the kids such as pizza, etc. And please, try their local wine. It's truly worth it And the place was clean. There was absolutely nothing that bothered me in that regard. Last but not least: beds and pillows were so comfortable. I really didn't want to get out of bed. Also, there is a short walk 1½ km/1 mile to a store close by if you need something. After that, just a few more steps into a beautiful town that dates at least back to 300 BC. Tl;dr: Choose this resort for your vacation. It's well worth your time and hard earned money.

The whole place was clean and beautiful. It was well equipped and the communication with the staff was easy. The location is perfect as it is not in the city center but it is close enough. It even had some shared kitchen machines for the guests.
