Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, DODAND Studio & Sunset Riverside Guesthouse is located in Don Det. This room truly enhanced my experience on the islands and allowed me to maximize my enjoyment of the surroundings and views. The balcony overlooking the islands and facing the sunset, along with the huge window in the room, brought nature and the stunning scenery right inside, allowing me to enjoy the environment even when indoors. The room itself was spacious, minimalist, and beautiful. Everything was clean, the water was hot, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Beyond all the comfort of the facilities themselves, I want to praise the hostel owner who was kind and pleasant, available on WhatsApp for any questions or issues, and happy to help with recommendations for trips in the area. You can also rent bicycles through her for exploring the islands - definitely a recommended experience!

Set in Pakse, less than 1 km from Pakse Bus station and a 13-minute walk from Wat Luang, Samlee's Garden offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Beautiful property inside and out with a great atmosphere and stunning view of the Mekong river from the balcony. The room was spacious and comfortable. The owners are warm and inviting and helpful with travel tips and booking day trips in the area. A highlight of our stay was the food. Everything we had was delicious and beautifully presented. Boasting inner courtyard views, Bolaven trail guesthouse offers accommodation with terrace, around 700 metres from Wat Luang. We arrived very early in the morning (after a night journey on a sleeping bus), but we were warmly welcomed and able to leave our luggage. By around 10 a.m., our room was ready, which we appreciated greatly. We spent a couple of very peaceful days, something that is very important to us. We loved the quick responses, excellent communication, cleanliness, and attentive service from Xavier and his wife. We used their laundry service, and our clothes were returned clean within a few hours. We also rented a motorbike from them to explore some waterfalls along part of the loop, and everything worked perfectly. Lastly, we purchased tickets to Don Det through them, with pickup directly from the accommodation. Everything was punctual and convenient. Set in Champasak, 33 km from Champasak Stadium, Nakorn River View offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. It is a great, relaxing and quiet place. The rooms are nice and spacious. We just stayed for 2 nights, but could have stayed longer (but didn t had the time). We could have bicycles for free, I mean they not great but ok to get to Vat Phou. The restaurant is really good, Really enjoyed the food and luckily they had nice vegetarian options. Very helpful staff, organized our tickets to Don Det easily.

The Riviera Champasak features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a restaurant and bar in Champasak. This 3-star hotel offers room service and free WiFi. The hotel had all modern reqiurements and my room had a beautiful view of the Mekong River and a stunning sunrise that I could see from my bed if desired. The restaurant was excellent and it was great to be able to cool off and relax beside the pool. Although I did not have time to use them there were bicycles available free to ride to the town and surrounding countryside. The staff were helpful and polite.
