Very exciting drive through the mountains - we went up one way and came down the other for the thrill of it.

This is our second visit and we travelled from Dubai, the hub of 5* hotels however I can honestly say, the stay here exceeded those hotels. Set in Shatti Al Qurum Beach Area in Muscat, W Muscat features an outdoor swimming pool. All the rooms come with air conditioning and a flat screen TV with satellite channels. We wanted some peace and quiet and this is exactly what we got: a lovely, spacious room away from the hustle and bustle. A terrace with a sea view. Comfortable beds. Friendly, professional staff. Unbeatable location. We felt very well taken care of and could have stayed longer, both at the W and in Muscat. Special thanks to Joel and Daniela for making our stay a fun one.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. We were happy with our connecting rooms. Beautiful pool, nice and warm in December. Direct beach access to a lovely stretch of sand. Nice outdoor play area for kids with lawn games. Clean and spacious kids club. Large breakfast buffet with very nice choices. Great surprise to find the bowling alley at the property! Within walking distance of the Al Mouj marina, with great options for lunch or dinner. Highly recommended!

In the 80's in Time Magazine Al Bustan Palace published beautiful ad and since then I wanted to visit this place. During my recent first visit to Oman I knew that I must stay at Al Bustan Palace. This place is everything I Imagined long time ago in the 80's. It is a real Palace built for kings and princes of the Gulf states. Arabic themed buffet dinner was of the highest quality with amazing variety (tagine, shuwa, maqluba, shawerma, . . .). Frankincense scent in the lobby, fires in the garden during the evening, beautiful colors on the mountains during sunset and sunrise . . . We kindly received room upgrade and late check out. One of the few truly magical places in our world (like La Mamounia in Marrakech)

Set on a clifftop in the city center, Crowne Plaza Muscat features stunning panoramic city & sea views. Amazing Hotel. Great friendly staff. Pool was amazing and so nice to have a private beach. We were very appreciative to be invited to an hour of drinks and nibbles with other guest and meet more of the wonderful staff. The food in all the restaurants was fantastic along with the service from the friendly staff.
