I loved spending time here, enjoying coffee while overlooking the natural pools with waves crashing the stones - perfect morning routine! The staff is helpful and very friendly, always ready to help you.

Rooftop facilities, the bar and the restaurant (the food was super delicious) are amazing! The view from the rooftop is breathtaking, especially at Sun rise. The staff was very kind. Miguel was very helpful at explaining the historical facts for the island , as well as advising on the sightseeings. The location is primary and just in the heart of Funchal, so traffic noise could be expected but at acceptable levels. The bed was extremely comfy.

The hotel is located close to the center of the city, everything is in walking distance. The rooftop bar offers good drinks and a wonderful view, the rooftop pool is well appropriate to recharge in the sun (of which we had plenty).The room was large, the balcony had side-view, partly city and a bit of the ocean. The fresh fruit served for breakfast were perfectly ripened and sweet.

Featuring free WiFi, São Francisco Accommodation is a renovated building with 6 floors and a lift. It offers modern rooms in Funchal, within a 5-minute walk from the harbour. Everything was perfect. Our arrival time was past midnight and the request for late check in was handled with such a great manner. Complimentary Madeira cake and wine was also a great addition and so appreciated.Location , clearness, breakfast was excellent and vegetarian/ vegan friendly ❤️

The 4-star Aqua Natura Madeira offers elegant rooms with Atlantic Ocean views in the fishing village of Porto Moniz, 45 km north of Funchal city centre. It offers a sauna on site. Even in bad weather you can still relax with a view of the sea :) Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. Parking at the hotel. The location is also good for trips to nearby levadas by car. We also ordered a massage (standard quality) and ate at a Japanese restaurant (longer wait, but good food). Wifi without problems.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. We had an excellent stay at the apartment – everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to each day.

Featuring stunning views of the north-east coast of the Island of Madeira and the surrounding mountains, this 4-star hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a balcony. Everything is just great. The hotel surrounding is beautiful with stunning views, you can watch the sunrise from the balcony or just outside the hotel. Great breakfast with huge choice of food. We had a vila which was very spacious and well equipped, even with an own fireplace :) The staff was super friendly. There is also a walking path that will bring you down to the beach, which is not far, just it is little steep. Definitely recommend for families with kids - they can enjoy the pool area as well as playing room with billiard, table tennis and table football.

The location of the hotel was fabulous brilliant views of the sea and the staff were so friendly and very helpful when we had to stay an extra night as our plane home was cancelled! The hotel also provided a very good complimentary mini bus service to the start and finish of various walks and to Funchal and to the airport. Thoroughly recommend the hotel and place!
