The entire surroundings of Satu Lingkung is very organic to a city person like me. Perched higher up above the rice terraces, the air was always colder, misty sometimes. Spring water, rich in natural mineral, streamed from Mt Rinjani to the shower. This place is ideal for spiritual soul-searching. The team running this place have the wholehearted zeal to showcase the real beauty and authencity of main points of interest around east Lombok. Just engage them, you will never regret to learn more of the local culture, livelihood, garden spices, flora and fauna. My 6-nights stay here have been the exceptional moments of my 1-month tripstories. Grateful for the opportunities to mingle with Cok, Azis, Jeky, Ardy, Hadi, DJ Ricky, Engga etc over rice wine cheers and some rock-and-roll music at night. Meeting three other gorgeous solo travellers - Caroline, Bregje and Kim truly is truly unforgettable connection. If to summarise the holistic experience in one word, I will not hesitate to say "HAPPY". Wish Satu Lingkung team a fruitful journey for the betterment in future.
