From the moment we arrived at Cottage Lemons, we were enchanted. Nestled in the serene hills of Gonio, this place is a peaceful paradise surrounded by lush greenery, fresh mountain air, and the scent of citrus trees. If you're looking for a break from the hustle of city life, this is the perfect escape. The cottage itself is spotless, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. Waking up to birdsong and enjoying morning coffee on the terrace with views of mountains was truly special. + Amazing Gonio fortress right in the made it extra special. And the warm hospitality of the hosts should be noted seperately. They were incredibly friendly, responsive, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable — from providing local recommendations to surprising us with fresh fruit from their garden. Whether you're a couple, solo traveler, or a small family, Cottage Lemons offers a unique experience that combines comfort, nature, and genuine Georgian hospitality. It’s more than just a stay — it’s a memory you’ll carry with you. Highly recommend, and we’re already looking forward to return.

PERFECT location, in the middle of the village, in Mitrala Reserve. Amazing views!! A great place to relax, a place for nature-lovers, suitable for families. There is a private pool at the facility and a place for a bonfire and a place for a grill. A covered place to sit outside. The cabin has a balcony, with a coffee table, where you can enjoy the changing views alongside the changing mountain weather 😀 There is a cloth drying rack, there is a washing machine, a filter coffee machine (for americano), a small fridge, a stove, a kettle, a microwave, and dishes. The cabin owner has beehives and gave us fresh, chestnut honey to taste. It was delicious 😋 Pity we had baggage 🧳 limits cut down on the flight back, otherwise I'd love to buy at least two jars of honey 🍯. This is a place for people who like to relax and stay in one place or for people who like hiking - there is a 3km walk to the entry to Mitrala Reserve, where you can enjoy the stream, and a cold beverage in a beverage-truck 😉 From there you can take a minibus back (#141, you need to pay by cash, or #427, where you can pay by credit card), which come by every 1,5-2 hours.

Wow! This cottage was extremely beautiful and spoiling. A perfect mountain getaway, I wish we had more time to spend there. Even though it was a bit hard to find in the beginning as its quite challenges to navigate in the small roads of the village, the cottage itself was extremely well designed, equipped with everything you might need in the kitchen for cooking, a stove, a microwave, a cattle and all the cutlery, spoiling shower with hot water, smart flat tv, little outside pool and a comfortable bed. Our host greeted us with local wine, sweets and fruits- a small thing that really made us feel good. Thank you, we will definitely visit again if you come back😍
