We loved the place overall, the surroundings, the loving staff, and their delicious home-made food! We spend our Christmas time there with our 2-year-old son, and they made the holiday for us extra special. A perfect stay in an oasis of silence. We found the accommodation by chance and we are so glad we had the opportunity to stay here. The host Putu is the most helpful person we have met in Bali. He speaks English and can tell you everything about Bali, from local trekking recommendations to spiritualism to meditation. The room furnishings were beautiful and even without air conditioning the room was very comfortable. We had both wonderful breakfasts and dinner cooking classes with Putu and his wife, which we thoroughly enjoyed. One of the best stays in Bali! Definitely recommend it!

Beautiful place far away from all the busy parts and great starting point to hike up Mount Batukaru. The cabin and bed are comfortable, you can fall asleep with the balcony doors open looking out on the forest and listening to its sound. Beautiful, spacious area with all kinds of hidden corners, every cabin has its own fireplace out front, 2 pools filled with natural water, lovely garden with ponds and all kinds of plants growing, amazing food made using all the ingredients they produce themselves (!!!). Harry and Yuni are the most wonderful hosts I have met in my time as a traveller and will make sure you're more than comfortable and your curiosity to learn about the local culture,food and plants will be more than stilled. Definitely coming back here, thank you for everything!
