Incredible location. At the start of hike PR 11. Restaurants, steps away . Everything in the apartment was modern and clean. Great views, wish we stayed there longer.

We had a great time. Great location, neighborhood was quiet, only 10min away from downtown Funchal. The hosts were very welcoming and even gave us some information about the local festivities at the time.

The aparment is small but cosy with a nice terrace which offers lovely view of the sea. The location is quiet and peaceful, away from busy areas. I used it as a "base" to explore the western part of the island. Every day, I used to drive to a new place, enjoyed the sights and then returned to the apartment to relax. I was able to visit some lesser-known spots, such as Levada Fajã do Rodrigues. It takes 10-15 min to drive to the closest Continente supermarket in Santana which was convenient for quick supply runs.

Excellent location, right in the city centre. Walking distance to the bus stop for airport connectivity and to the numerous, restaurants , cafes, old town, Christmas market... Wonderful accomodation. Very clean. All amenities are thoughtfully present in the room . Comfortable beds. No disturbance at all in spite of the central location. Very responsive hostess. Pre-check instructions were great. Felt very welcome although I couldn't meet her during my three day stay. Everything was as promised. Very good value for money. This will be my first choice if I ever come back to Funchal in future.

Our family of 5 (two parents and three kids ages 13, 10, and 6) had an amazing stay here during our kids' February break. The house is exactly as described, and is lovely. Each of the 4 bedrooms has a beautiful view of the city and the ocean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the outside patio was beautiful. We enjoyed wine outside in the evenings, and the kids ate breakfast outside in the morning. The best part of our stay was the host, Sidónio. He was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. He had great suggestions for things to do and see on Madeira, and our trip would not have been the same without his suggestions!
