Cosy authentic house with a garden, large terrace with a fireplace, their own wine cellar. The house fitted a family of 5, and we had everything we needed. A great feature of this house is heating in every room, which is mot always the case in traditional houses like this. We were very comfortable during colder rainy days. The hosts made us very welcome with sweets,wine, and basic products in the fridge. Regina was quick to respond to any questions we had. The view to the valley and mountains is breathtaking! Perhaps the only thing to keep in mind - if you are a light sleeper, strong winds and rain at night will wake you up ( we stayed in January).

Location was excellent for our needs, away from any crowds and in a peaceful area but within a reasonable and pleasant walk along the promenade to local town with good restaurants and bars. The space and facilities within the property were excellent, kitchen had everything we could possibly need, bed extremely comfortable and a really good and luxurious shower and separate bath. The pool and outdoor spaces were perfect with sun on the property for the majority of the day until early evening. The entire place was really clean and attractive and well kept gardens an added bonus. Our host, Richard, was extremely helpful and approachable and responded to any queries promptly. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again should we return to Madeira.

Very stylish interior and exterior. Quiet, great privacy. Wonderful garden with flowers and tropical fruits, and ocean view with sunset. Great, responsive host.
