Hazel was wonderful to talk to. Woodstove was appreciated on a chilly day, as were motion-sensor lights for our nighttime journeys to the ‘loo and sink. Cozy and clean! Cutely decorated, too.

Set in 2 acres of garden and grounds with views over the Tay Valley and mountains beyond, Tayview Lodges is situated in Guay, Dunkeld, just 10 minutes drive from Pitlochry. Perth is 28 km away. Lovely central location a few miles from Pitlochry. Looking out over open countryside without the issue of lodges being crammed in together. Modern, clean, well laid out and a good size for a couple. Good sized shower and bathroom that didn't feel like a squeezed in afterthought. Excellent communication from the owners re directions etc.

A quiet location, well placed as a base to explore the area with day trips. Comfortable bed and lounge. The kitchen was well appointed, and having access to a washing machine and dryer was welcome.
