Kele Yala is a boutique hotel situated in the dry zone in Kataragama. Everything. The food, the staff, the room! Everything was lovely and we would definitely go back.

This is in a good part of Tangalle, near some nice restaurants and the beach where the turtles hatch. Staff were super kind and provided us with some awesome breakfasts. There were lots of frogs in the bathroom, I liked it, but it might not be everyone's vibe.

The breakfast was wonderful, including fresh mango, pineapple and papaya from the lush garden. Rohan also brought us tea in the afternoon both days. The bed was super comfortable, with lovely bedding. A 15-minute walk or quick tuktuk to some of the most incredible quiet beaches I've ever seen. Would definitely recommend.

But you have to keep in mind that waves are so high there that it is very difficult to swim. Still - views are incredible. Our host Gayan was very helpful and I could count on him during entire stay.

He knows the nature around him very well! We felt 100% safe and for every problem we had the owner had a solution! The beds were very comfortable and the area was so clean and nature oriented... Just amazing! The food was amazing!
