The room is very good but what makes this place special is the staff. They are so friendly, helping with everything and making sure that your trip is perfect! We have already travelled a lot of places but this is by far the best stay that we ever had!

We spent a few wonderful days at Twin Waters, hosted by Andrew, and the experience was simply magical. Nestled between the river and the sea—less than 100 meters apart—the place is a true haven of peace, surrounded by stunning nature. The nearby village offers an authentic glimpse of local life: fishermen, unpaved streets, children’s dance classes, a small church… And just 2 km away, the bird sanctuary is a true gem for nature lovers. Starting at 6 a.m., the sky comes alive with the graceful flight of beautiful birds—an unforgettable sight. The chalets are well spaced out, offering total privacy. The meals, both Sri Lankan and European-inspired, are delicious and lovingly prepared by Andrew’s attentive team. The staff are incredibly caring, and the fellow guests we met were warm and inspiring, adding even more magic to the stay. A true hidden gem, a timeless escape. Without hesitation: 10/10.

We didn’t get a chance to try the pool but it looked inviting. The staff are amazing and the food delicious. The rooms were lovely and clean, overall I thought it was great value for the money.

It has all elements required, good wind, good equipment, shallow warm waters and best of all, an amazing team of great kitesurfers who hosted us with love!
