This is a great little B&B/Holiday Apartment. It is not in the middle of Inverness but everything is reachable by an easy drive. And the owner is a gem- has great recommendations and great advice. We stayed in Apartment 2 which was clean and bright and very easy to make into a temporary home. My only complaint was the construction next door- which was incredibly noisy. But what can you do?

Lovely apartment conveniently located within walking distance of many cafes pubs and stores. Elenor met us with the key. She let us in and showed us around, also recommended the wonderful cafe across the street, xoco. They serve all sorts of morning treats and breakfast. They even had cream for my coffee, something I couldn’t get anywhere since arriving in Scotland. We had a Balcony, but couldn’t sit out there for long because it was very windy on the 3rd floor. I’m sure it would be delightful on a calmer day. The apartment was large and roomy with a washer. We got to do a load of laundry. No dryer, but we used the drying racks. Nice cook top, which we didn’t use. 2 bathrooms are in the apartment. We had a difficult time turning on the tv but after calling Elenor, it was quickly resolved.
For those trying to save, these fun, budget hotels still have lots to offer, from Wifi to convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties are set in central areas and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find loads of options that feature 24-hour front desks and luggage storage.
The cottage was as expected with great facilities and was an ideal location as a base for meeting friends and family in the Inverness area. Keys were readily accessible via a key safe with code sent to me a few days before arrival. Directions to cottage were supplied at same time and were easy to follow.
Great location, very friendly staff. We were travelling with another couple on motorbikes, and the parking at the front of the cottage was safe and secure.
Comfortable beds and spotlessly clean.V nice breakfast.
Local hotel 2 minutes walk does nice food if a little pricy.
Great cottage in a peaceful location but still close enough to everything. Really well equipped and spotlessly clean. Excellent shower. Pretty much faultless.
Andrea and Stuart are perfect hosts. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfast is excellent with a wide choice available. The location of White Cottage is amazing overlooking the Moray Firth.
