We loved the quiet location. We visited Loughcrew megalithic site and plan to return to visit more heritage sites in this area. Bernie and Arthur were very helpful and friendly and have turned their shed into a beautiful Honey Bee learning centre :)

The hotel itself is so beautiful, the grounds spectacular. Very clean. Everyone working there are very friendly & chatty. The food was lovely. Our room was a good size & the bed was very comfortable. We had a problem on the first night as it was unseasonably warm & the heating was on. The problem was quickly sorted next morning. The bathroom plumbing needed a bit of TLC. All of the taps wouldn’t turn off nor would the toilet cistern filler. Finally, the cold tap to the shower didn’t work. The plus side was plenty of towels & toiletries

They were delicious) - Location is beautiful. A real hidden gem - Grounds of the hotel are expertly maintained from the golf course to the lawns to the fairy fort
