Kuća Mihajlvić is probably the best accommodation you can find in Svrljig, especially taking into consideration they are almost the only accomodation. :D ... Joking aside, we were quite satisfied. The house is very cute, all green with a beautiful garden and the fountain, and spacious, with large rooms. Beds were good enough for us. Fresh air and quiet surroundings were perfect for the summer nights. There was no smell in the house. Maybe that is the case in winter but in June no. I am very sensitive to smell and there was no mold smell in the house (someone mentioned before). Also, there is a normal bathroom attached to the apartment (everything is on the first floor of the house). Kitchen is well equipped, regarding dishes, and wifi, as well as TV, worked perfectly. The hosts were kind and waited for us on arrival. So, all together, house Mihajlović has our recommendation.

What a wonderful place in a small village in the mountains near Niš. There are bus connections and taxis to Niš and the airport are cheap. It’s perfect for hiking in the beautiful surroundings. The owners are the most welcoming hosts I’d ever had. Be sure to tell them in advance if you would like to have breakfast and/or dinner there since there’s no restaurant in the village. The food at the guesthouse is excellent and they even have their own wines.
