a very busy but modern airport. e-gates make arrival & departure easy. a bit slow at baggage x-ray and priority line for business class was not open. good facilities, lots of places to eat and drink inside and outside. once outside the airport there is a fence in the middle of the road - it means a detour to access many of the car hire offices and airport hotels which are actually just opposite

It was very convenient location around airport since our flight was very early in the morning. The hotel exceeded out expectations. Was brand new with all state of the art appliances, comfortable beds and pillows. Family owned and operated and the family was so friendly and attentive. Can't say anything wrong about it. It servers the purpose for the night.

Pros: The location to airport was good with cheap shuttle service. The room we comfortable and spacious.
Cons: food options very limited - no restaurant on site, none easy to access by walking and no option for food delivery without cash - I was at end of trip so my cash was gone and I ended up just eating a bag of crisps for dinner. Not the end of the world but not ideal
Noisy - Sounded like a party going on through the night right outside my window. Window was broken and unable ti be closed.
All in all, decent room, good location for airport but not for anything else.
Plan to have a little cash on hand

Most chaotic airport ever visit!
Most chaotic airport ever visit! Unbearable and dangerous traffic, not pedestrian friendly, check-in takes too long and security lines a mile long.
Not fitted for the amount of traffic experiencing.
Plan to travel early to the airport, especially if you rent a car. The car rental garage is a mad house in which we were almost one hour stuck in competing traffic.

Rinas is the area where the airport is located, which is about 45 minutes from Tirana, the capital. It didn't take us more than 20 minutes to get in and out of the airport. Our entire stay in Albania was 7 days and nights; we flew back on the 8th day. Albania is an amazing, clean country with the most stunning nature and lots of variety. You see layers of mountains with and without snow, clean beaches, beautiful lakes, and rivers. Lots of cultural and historic places to visit everywhere. Photos do not convey a clear understanding; one must see with the naked eye. Most importantly, it wasn't expensive at all. The only expensive place is the airport.

The airport is small, clean, and has a nice modern facade. Check-in was straightforward, and the building itself looks pleasant.
During departure it was extremely crowded and chaotic, with no free seating and little space to move around. My flight was delayed, which made the wait even less comfortable.
Nice small airport in design, but easily overcrowded and uncomfortable during busy hours.

The rooms are big and luxurious they come with a bathroom the size of a regular room a very clean shower and big bathtub. Everything is spotless and to the highest standard. The food is great the breakfast is complimentary.
