A river delta where the roads are fluvial only so no cars.
A river delta where the roads are fluvial only so no cars. Great 4 hour roundtrip with the public transport boat Jilguero picking up locals along the way and crosses the vast Rio Parana before heading back. Lovely

The town has a lot to offer, from nice walks, boat trips, some museums and of course the puerto de frutos. However, we did not encounter any good restaurants. The food in general in the whole of Tigre is average at best. Another negative is the permanent fuel smell all over town, as the congestion of cars and boats is maxed out, and there aren't any emission-limiting requirements in Argentina, so all the boats use out-dated engines. Nonetheless, a recommendable visit, definitely when you want to buy some cheap furnitures and house-hold in puerto de frutos!
Amazing location! Beautiful property hidden away in the delta, surrounded by nature. Perfect place to relax in the hammocks, take out a kayak or play a bit of piano! I also went wakeboarding one day which was amazing fun. The staff were all fantastically welcoming and friendly. The included breakfast is divine and the evening meals delicious as well.I couldn’t recommend this place more for a relaxing getaway in nature!
Tigre is an amazing place to visit and the cabin we stayed in was set well back from the river so it was quiet. (Except for the permanent residents who lived nearby and played loud techno music, but that is not a fault of the property.)
The fridge worked.
Friendly dogs at the front cabin.
Beautiful lush greenery and clear skies.
In mid-March, the bugs were basically non-existent.
The location was great, right next door to the hotel. The property was clean. Ariel was an amazing host. Breakfast was not the same as the hotel's. It was in bagels place next door. The food was great and portions were very generous.
