Offering a garden, Estancia Río Abajo is located by the river, 1.1 mi from downtown, 16 mi from Los Alerces National Park and 17 mi from Futaleufu Hydroelectric Complex. Everything. The place, the comfort of the cabin, but the most important is the kidness of the hosts (Leo and Graciela). They are great and make you feel wonderful. Give you tips to reach to the best places and also offer delicious bread and jams made by them.
Trevelin still has a flavour of pioneers settlement very far from large cities. Lanscapes in spring are beautiful, particularly in Los Alerces National Park, on Lagos Futalaufquen and Menendez, and on the road to Chile. The lake tour in Los Alerces National Park is a must. The road to Chile's Futaleufu village and the road 71 to Cholila and Epuyen are also beautiful. The weather can be rough - wind and rain, but it often changes.

Casa de Piedra was well situated, and easy to find, with secure off-street parking. It was quiet at night, and the breakfast was delicious. My room had no wifi - but it wasn't a problem as I could sit downstairs, in the sunny lounge area, and get online. We were supposed to be, and had paid for, two, but my son was delayed. I was told the room rate was the same for one, or two Whilst in Trevelin, try a Welsh Tea - a bizarre , but delicious, experience in the middle of Patagonia - scones, cake, and tea!! - and welsh singing

The host was very friendly and kind. The cabin was comfortable, clean, equipped with kitchen appliances. The size was perfect for four adults. The place is ~9km away from Trevelin, so I see this could be a downside for some. For us it was ideal, very calm and relaxing.

Very nice owners running the business. Food and breakfast were delicious and home-made. I would stay again in the hotel if I go to Trevelin. It is very well located if you would like to visit the Alerces National Park.

A warm welcome and a wonderfully peaceful location. Being on the edge of town we had a great view of the stars on clear nights.
