Hotel Alpenrose is set in the mountain village of Gargellen in Vorarlberg, surrounded by forests and mountains and just 1312 feet from the cable car. I didn't expect much since it's "just 3* hotel" but the stay was really pleasant. Spacious and clean room, kind employees, fast WiFi, delicious breakfast. There was nothing I could complain about.

Small village, ski to door access though the hotel is not the closest to ski lift, bus in the morning to the lifts, quite environment. very cozy atmosphere, kids and pets are very welcomed. Very nice bar with fireplace, friendly, approachable and helpful staff. Special thank you to the cook, dinners were excellent. Dinner buffet for kids.

Just a 5-minute walk from the Schafberg Cable Car, Haus Gariella is quietly located at the edge of the forest in Gargellen. The spacious apartments all have a balcony and a kitchen or kitchenette. This was perfectly adequate apartment for our visit. Beautiful view.
