It was modern but still comfortable, stylish but not pretentious, beautifully clean and uncluttered. My bed was very comfortable, and I lived the quiet! Breakfast was good too! The staff were lovely and kindly endured my bad German since I am trying to learn the language.

The location is a 1 minute off the bus stop, which is a 5 minute ride from the train, one of the most convenient locations we visited. It looks right at the Schlossberg and it's just minutes to walk to the historic center of the city. The Restaurant is charming, the breakfast was excellent, the room was comfortable and the bathroom renovated and modern. A really charming place, will definitely go back

    Graz is a buzzing and vibrant historic city that we have visited before, On this occasion we were just stopping overnight on our journey back to UK so the quiet hotel " in the woods" up in the hills was ideal for that. Anyone visiting the city but wanting to stay in a quiet spot , with a nearby tram stop for quick access in , would enjoy staying in this hotel.

    Styria is a very beautiful region of Austria and Graz as its capital is a real gem. I really like the leisure atmosphere of the city - part austrian, part slovenian, part italian. The cuisine is also very nice - I would recommend except of some austrian clasics like Wiener Schnitzel or Sacher torte, styrian specialties from pumpkin or pork meat and regional wines - they are excellent. Some recommendations - Kunsthaus café (friday / saturday evening), Der Steirer (lunch), Martin Auer bakery at Main square / Hauptplatz (breakfast), May Kay (snack / cheap lunch). Regarding the momuments in the city, I would recommend Uhrturm, Schlossberg museum and Landeszeughaus. The city surroundings also offer many opportunities like cable car to Schockl, Austrian open air museum of hiking in Bärenschutzklamm for the brave ones. If you like the exploring the city, I would recommend to buy a Graz card. If you like explore city and its surroundings, I would recommend also to buy a Styrian leisure time tickets - it cost 13 euro and its valid for 24 hours for all buses, trams a regional trains in Styria. So if you have enough time and soul of adventurer, you can explore further destinatios in Styria.

    Would have loved to spend more time exploring the Styrian countryside and wandering in the old town. Countryside and buildings are beautiful and people are friendly. From whatever we tried, food was also great.

    Everything was just perfect. We were traveling through Austria and stayed only for one night. We booked the room very late, around 7 pm and contacted the hotel immediately that we will arrive around midnight. They were very helpful, left us the keys and sent us the details how to get in. The room was super clean and tidy, and sound proof, so we could sleep tight. Check out was 11 am, which was also great. We highly recommend it!
