Stayed in Armidale on a trip from The Gold Coast, travelling the Waterfall way. Which was fabulous. Enjoyed the drive the scenery and the waterfalls. Armidale is nestled in a valley. So, there are several lookouts to view down on the center of town. The town has pretty good shopping for its population size. It is the highest town in NSW and is a university town. Nice old style home to stop at on a long road trip. Dinner and Breakfast were very good. Bed was very comfortable but room was messy in that it had many electrical cables running to devices such as heaters,TV,s,fridges etc. A proper electrical upgrade would make the room look neater and safer.Guest review byJamproAustralia - 10.0

The Stables are a beautifully appointed cosy self contained accommodation perfect for a couple. Full cooking facilities but also close to many dining venues. The host Terri was super friendly and helped us with ongoing travel arrangements.
