Very attractive beach. Attractive cafes and restaurants close to the main centre and the regional centre of Bundaberg a short drive away. Great area for fresh fruit, macadamias and ice cream. It would be difficult, but not impossible, to explore without a car. In the cooler seasons a bike would be pleasant but the public transport options are not extensive. One or two noisy drunks about the pub in the evening, but generally a peaceful and relaxing place to visit.
The beaches, cafes on the esplanade especially the windmill cafe were great. We ate at the golf club and food and staff were perfect especially the ladies that served our meals and poured our drinks. The turtle park was fantastic, very child friendly and interactive. Everyone were friendly and open for a chat. We also drove a short distance to local suburbs and Burnett Heads was great with a little patrolled beach that was perfect for our kids.
Mon Repos turtle visit was amazing, saw babies hatching and a mother laying. Barolin rocks snorkelling was beautiful but you need to get in at the sheltered Rockpool or tricky with kids. Beautiful beaches with so few tourists
Mon Repos for turtles Bundaberg close by to shop till you drop. The free Zoo attached to Alexandra Park was awesome. A cacophony of siteseeing splendours to meet all tastes. Bagara has a nice family beat, all local conveniences for the resident and the traveller.
Mon Repos turtle experience was spectacular. Extremely affordable. Staff ensure all children are included in the experience. An opportunity to watch National Parks and Wildlife scientists go about the business of turtle conservation.
The town wasn't well equipped to cater for tourists. Breakfast queues at the only 2 Cafes were 30 minutes - just to order. Then slugged with a huge public holiday surcharge. That night - restaurants closed on Main Street. We were very much looking forward to our trip to Bargara - sadly disappointed and won't go back.
It was cosy and comfortable. We loved the host Loraine for her valuable inputs and utmost hospitality. The lil Jack Russell - Baxter was the icing on the cake. He was always up for some petting and playing. We would always recommend this place to all in Bargara.
Free upgrade, which was very nice. Thank you! We booked on short notice, as we ended up staying in Bargara for another night. It was a good place to stay near Burnett Heads, from where we went on a Great Barrier Reef tour the next morning.
The location of the hotel was great! Walking distance to everything. The rooms were very spacious booked a twin ocean view room came with a dbl bed and a single! Got a view of the water! What more could you want!
Property was clean, well maintained and the manageress was amazing - went out of her way to help out. Very friendly. Great location opp the beach within walking distance of golf club and local restaurants.
Just walk out of the unit onto the beach. Located close to some of the best restaurants you will find. Very friendly helpful staff.
Friendly staff, nice large room, private underground parking place, best location in Bargara, food in Kacy's was delicious

This apartment is absolute luxury. We stayed over Xmas and it was right on the beach, with views from the lounge, kitchen and dining. Nice and quiet as mostly owned by residents. Lovely balcony with comfortable lounge and table for meals. Fully air-conditioned if needed, although with the stackable sliding doors open the breeze and sound of the ocean is beautiful. Lovely pool for the whole family to enjoy. 2 underground secured car parks, being a 3 bedroom apartment, which was great for my parents who live at Bargara to come and visit us, and not have to worry about finding a park. Yolande - the host was amazing from the minute we booked, and if we had any questions she was very attentive and offered to do anything. My son got a DVD for Xmas, and the DVD player in the apartment didn't work. (Unfortunately that's what happens with the salt air) Yolande had her cleaner go out and buy one and deliver it to us the next day - amazing service. Would go back there in a heartbeat - worth every cent! If when you get to the apartment there is something not quite right, its likely because Yolande doesn't know, so give her a text and she will sort it if at all possible. We checked in the day someone checked out and the blind in the main room had just been reported as broken, Yolande contacted me and was going to arrange for someone to fix it during the Xmas / New year break. It wasn't an issue for us, so we said didn't worry about out. That is just and example of how on top of things Yolande is. Thanks again Yolande for a wonderful stay. Hopefully we will be back again soon.
The location, right on Kelly beach was excellent. It was a very short walk to downtown. Easy parking, the unit was very spacious so we could spread out. The shower and bathroom was huge, not what I expected. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals.
The villa was comfortable and well designed with plenty of natural light, the gardens lovely and the pooled looked great. All very well kept.
Perfect spot to stay away from city centre. Very central to all amenities you need ie cafes restaurants sites and shops.
