Close to the beach but cabin in need of some urgent TLC .

Close to the beach but cabin in need of some urgent TLC .Air conditioner rattled and had cardboard stuck in the side of it to hold it together, Bedroom fan was barely moving or ready for take-off, almost zero airflow in the room with bunks .And door from bedroom to bathroom needs adjusting to allow it to open more freely. Overall disappointing and way overpriced for two nights out of season.

We loved - the cabin. It was the perfect size for kids.

We loved - the cabin. It was the perfect size for kids. The bunk beds were also fine for kids as well. The main bed however was a double and a little small but that is to be expected with a double bed, we wish they had larger beds available. We loved our stay in Barrack Point and it was in a convenient location - close to Shellharbour and Stocklands. Shell Cove was a great spot to eat and the Marina was great to eat, for the kids to play in the water, and do our food shopping. It was about 20 minutes away from Jamberoo, so we took the kids there and they absolutely loved it.

The owner was very patient with me whilst lost trying to find accommodation. The entry gate was very difficult to open and I was concerned about the noise I made at night trying to gain access. I was disappointed that the kettle and toaster were outside the room on a verandah area, which was overlooked by the main house. The tap on the basin was not secured to the basin.

It's beautiful, the beach waves are very strong for surfing and loud which is nice while sleeping. The cafes street if only a short stroll away and Warilla Grove isn't far either, 3 min drive. Close to Shellharbour village and the beautiful new Marina for a night out with friends. Excellent location. I wish the place was more equipped at least with basic essentials but overall it was good.
