Located in Bellingen, 23 miles from Nambucca Heads, Guest House on Hyde provides a garden and free WiFi. Extremely well presented room, clean comfortable and cosy with efficient A/C. While on main road through town, quiet overnight, and allowed sound sleep in super bed. Ensuite bathroom, while small, was adequate with good size shower. Town shops and restaurants all an easy walk from Guest House on Hyde on concrete pavement. Off street parking and free wifi all good. Lovely fresh fruit and cooked breakfast finished off a most enjoyable and relaxed stay.
Located in Bellingen, Afterglow Cottages has accommodations with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with a grill. The accommodations have a spa bath and a hot tub. We loved absolutely everything our honeymoon was amazing thankyou so much
Featuring a garden, barbecue facilities, and a terrace, The Converted Church on the river - Bellingen has accommodations in Bellingen with free WiFi and river views. Very friendly hosts. Close to town. Wine, chocolates and fresh eggs were a lovely touch. Very beautiful outlook.
Set on a 100 acre property with 3 fully self-contained chalets, Promised Land Retreat is located 15 minutes' drive from Bellingen Town Center and 45 minutes' drive from Coffs Harbor Airport. Beautiful location, very relaxing, peaceful and secluded retreat. Short stroll to the creek and swimming holes. Host very easy to deal with, easy check in/check out. The Bower was very comfortable, set up for self catering (though bring all the groceries you need), lovely bathroom with couples bath and spa. Very comfortable bed, robes and slippers. Netflix on offer, as well as a games room, bikes etc, and close to other attractions if you need them (inc Bellingen, good cafes/restaurants). Or, like us, you could just sit on the deck and unwind, doing very little at all while enjoying the view!
Glocca Morra Cottage is located in Bellingen. This property has a balcony and free private parking. Fabulous little cottage with beautiful tree top views and river glimpses, clean and fully equipped with all the details taken care of, gorgeous big deck with plenty of space to relax. Fantastic getaway spot, quiet and private, with two gentle cows as our only neighbours. Definitely recommended.
Quirky village with soul! Lots of good food and interesting people. Market days are fabulous and eclectic. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the Bellinger River pretty special. A great place to soak up the hippy vibe that is genuinely happy and contented.
Bellingen is beautiful and fascinating small town, with its historic architectural heart very much intact. It is an excellent base from which to explore Waterfall Way. The town itself is worth a day to explore. There are many shops dedicated to handcrafted goods and local produce. Locals are really friendly and the town has very strong eco credentials with a sizable alternative lifestyle community. Bellingen is easy to walk around in an afternoon. Treat yourself to the heritage department store, with original fittings and fixtures from the 1880s! Bellingen is very much also a photographer's paradise, with gorgeous architecture, interiors and street scenes aplenty! You can expect cool temperatures due to its high altitude, so be sure to have a warm jacket amongst your luggage and winter woolies in winter!
One of the most beautiful places we have visited anywhere. Rain forest , wonderful beaches about 25 mins by car. We love our food and found independent cafes and the Butter Factory were perfect. Good menus and generous servings. Interesting local shops not tourist stuff. The people were so friendly and relaxed it was an absolute pleasure in every way.
Bellingen is a stunning place to visit and recharge. We found ourselves looking at real estate there! The locals are friendly and peaceful and happy. I would be too if I lived in this beautiful place with abundant rainforests, rolling green hills, creeks, activities for all ages, great shops and great locally grown food! Already planning our next weekender there! .... Brisbane. Make sure you do the butter factory and all it's hand-crafted shops. The shop up the ramp was amazing. Research and experience the amazing waterfalls at dorrigo and on the trip back from dorrigo to bellingen. Some hidden gems. Take a good camera! The Experial pub had great, big, reasonably priced meals. And a great atmosphere on a Saturday night.
We ate dinner at Little Red Kitchen, very pleasant staff though they were a little flustered because it was quite busy. We had a very good spaggetti bolognaise with a very good house Merlot, no room for dessert but the brownies looked great. For breakfast we ate at the Purple Carrot which was ok, the toast was seriously lacking butter and service was slow.! But there was a good selection of herbal tea and an interesting varied menu. Afterwards we went to the Old Butter Factory for a browse around the shops, definitely worth a look with friendly service. Could easily spent another day and night looking around more of the town, a very relaxed place that I would recommend.
Bellingen is really nice with a cool and friendly atmosphere. The only problem we had here was having meals - it is almost impossible to get dinner after 20:30 and lunch after 13:30-14:00. We highly recommend going to Dorrigo National Park. It is one of the most beautiful parks in NSW.

The solid and beautifully crafted cabin is set in a tranquil tropical location, very close to the hub of Bellingen. The cabin was immaculately clean with little touches like candles which added to the ambience of our stay. A very relaxing and tranquil setting.

It was a beautiful setting right on the river and should have felt like a retreat but hard to relax there. Good access to the river and a good outlook. Bellingen itself is beautiful and it was good to be close to Bellingen but still feel away from it all.

Stayed here with friends...3 couple in our late 60s. While this place is a little hard to find, the trip was worth it. If you use a gps or copy the instructions from the website, just follow them, even thought they seem a little strange. Also be sure to read the check in instructions sent to you prior to arrival. We are bird lovers and saw some great birds right on the deck. Each bedroom has a nice private bath and plenty of hot water. Pool was beautiful and great. Would stay here again.
