Located in Bridgetown, Bridgetown Valley Lodge has a shared lounge, garden, BBQ area, and free WiFi. The property has mountain views, a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk. Excellent location, near to town and shops of attraction and food. Can easily get on foot to explore, easy to drive to next town. Room was very neat, clean and bed is comfy. Hosts are very hospitable and caring. Breakfast was well provided. Go for Wattleseed cafe if you want a good cuppa and small bite; good food friendly crew and open early.
Located in Bridgetown, Woodlands of Bridgetown B&B provides accommodations with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden. A fridge and electric tea pot are also provided. The accomodation was beautiful. Room was clean and the bed was so comfy. The service was exceptional. Definitely be back.
We wouldn’t have chosen this hotel if we’d seen a more realistic review. The way the hotel was portrayed is not as it was. We booked two rooms. Ours was portrayed as ‘de-luxe’. It was far from de-luxe. * Room smelled strongly and unpleasantly of whatever cleaning fluid was used. Had to leave door open till faded somewhat! * Basic bare and characterless. * No guest water in fridge - which seemed semi functioning! Cool but not cold. * Very little variety of tea/coffee and no dedaf. * No mirror in large bedroom. * Shower over spa bath - no shower curtain or screen so water went out over the floor! No safety rail to safely assist getting in or out onto the wet floor - Dangerous onto a shiny glazed tiled floor! I have one prosthetic leg and it really isn’t safe for able people let alone a partially disabled one! * No ‘implement’ available to wipe water off wet floor providing a safer The rooms were not worth the money we paid and I would not recommend it or return.
I was only at the Bridgetown Hotel for an overnight stay for business but I would definitely stay there again when in Bridgetown for either business or leisure. The room was very large and the bathroom with spa was huge. Great amenities in the room. Staff very welcoming and explained everything regarding access to the rooms after hours. Continental Breakfast in the Dining Room the next morning was very well laid out with plenty of choices for cereals, breads, juices, condiments etc. Very happy to recommend for future visits.
The town is old and lovely, very relaxing.unfortunately a lot of shops were closed or shut down. The IGA was very competitive with Perth prices. The Bridgetown Hotel was great for a drink and snack, or bigger meal if you need it, we had had a satisfying breakfast at our fantastic accommodation - Ford House Retreat & Emporium (a must see while you are in Bridgetown) so only needed a snack. Close to Balingup to the north and Manjimup to the South (where Tall Timbers Brewery/ Restaurant is a must) where you can take a run about half an hour each way. Really enjoyed Bridgetown, slow, soft and sleepy with an old world feel. A little cold but I wouldn’t let that keep me away. Loved it
Bridgetown has so much to offer, and you are not too far from other beautiful attractions. The Freemason's pub has great food with a great menu. Only negative was, the bakery does not open on a Sunday and for a Country town we found that a little odd.
We ate at Nelsons . Food was very good. Hotel a bit isolating at one end of town. No breakfast at all provided but a cafe across the street had good coffee etc open at 7am. Overall nice little town but avoid Nelsons to stay. Overpriced and very, very basic.
A beautiful town nestled in rolling hills and the impressive Blackwood River. Many walks to enjoy interacting with nature. The township offers good food, coffee and many shopping opportunities. The streetscape is exceptional showing a lot of pride by the locals who are friendly and helpful. Top marks Bridgee!
Location was beautifully presented and maintained, with views of the river and manicured gardens can highly recommend. A full cooked breakfast or continental was offered which was included in the accommodation price which presented super value, we chose a cooked breakfast which the hosts cooked for us along with some great conversation. Will definitely stay again when next in Bridgetown.
The expereince at Bridgetown Valley lodge was exceptional. From the friendly greeting to being shown to our large, comfortable sparkling clean room with thoughtful touches...it is such a great place to stay. We had breakfast down in the dining room after a walk along the river that Jeff had suggested, all spot on. This place alone is a reason to return to Bridgetown and explore further.
Breakfast was as expected (Continental). Rory gave us extra bread on our first breakfast. And i think the bread was homemade-it was yummy. I liked the jams, marmalade etc that were made available for guests. I bought 5 jars at downtown bridgetown to take home. My husband and i made friends with Abbie and Suki (2 pets) -they were at our backdoor as soon as we got up.
Breakfast a bit basic (tray left in room for first night) Location very scenic and only a short drive to Bridgetown centre.
We loved this little bed and breakfast in Bridgetown. Just a two minute drive from town. Neat, clean and very comfortable.
Location was perfect for an easy walk to Nelsons for dinner. Also an easy walk to town to explore Bridgetown.
The central location of the Hotel in the town. The character of the building, and nice friendly staff.
Very friendly staff. Position of hotel in relation to the town.
Lovely place out in the countryside. We drove out spontaneously from the city and booked this place on our journey down to Bridgetown (we like living dangerously). Pamela was ever ready to make us feel welcomed (even jodi, her dog). It was nice to have someone check in off and on if everything was working fine for us. A great place to unwind. Our place was spacious, clean and comfy, definitely well taken care of.
Amazing property inside and outside. Fully equipped kitchen with lots of small but very important additions. Bathroom just lovely with luxurious spa bath. Bed outstandingly comfy and large.
The animals on the property were great.
