Located in Smoky Bay, a 13-minute walk from Smoky Bay and 15 miles from Laura Bay, The Jewel of the Bay offers a garden and air conditioning. Absolutely EVERYTHING! the property is located at the doorstep of the main beach, it’s very comfortable, clean and has all the facilities you need for a short or long stay.
Not a bad place in daylight, typical little SA seaside town. Beach not the best, bit of a jetty and a modern pub on the sea front that stands out from the rest of the traditional architecture around the town. After dark the atmosphere changes remarkably into a surreal world of howling locals and weird goings on that are best avoided. If you can bypass Ceduna on your travels I would suggest that you probably do.
Nice place to stay. The walk along the foreshore is scenic. The sunset is beautiful. There are several good seafood restaurants. The arts centre needs prior appointment to visit. The dinner menu at the Ceduna Foreshore Hotel is pretty good.
Love this park. The welcome when you arrive is better than anywhere we've been over the years. Such a friendly and pleasant greeting and the accommodation is brilliant. We very much like the accommodation that is so close to the jetty and across from the hotel so in a great location.
We stayed in Ceduna and flew out to Maralinga for a tour of the testing sight, it was a great way to see the country from above , it was an excellent trip, the flight was great. It is easy to get around Ceduna, the town has all the necessary amenities.
We were looking to get away from Adelaide for a week. Somewhere we hadn't been before and warmer than Adelaide, where the pace is slower so we could shake off the city blues and sample some of mother natures natural wonders. Ceduna is situated in an idyllic spot. The coastline is magnificent and the sunsets do not disappoint. The town is not too big so most things can be covered on foot if you are up to it. If you're into 4 wheel driving you must drive Googs track.
We enjoyed the character of Ceduna setting a good mood for us to cross the Nullarbor , which we really enjoyed . Ceduna has a relaxing feel about it , basic needs could be met shopping, eating , groceries, liquor , the information centre was very helpful . Ceduna Foreshores is a great place to stay everything you need there , great food . Plenty of history to observe and read about.
As from my previous review, had a chance to dine onsite this stay and was very happy with the meal and the service. Also chose to have breakfast in the room prior to an early start and was offered all the options that were available for dining in. This venue is definitely worth considering if you require accomodation in Ceduna.
The property was managed and maintained to a very high standard with great facilities, we could not ask for more. It was ideally positioned close to the main street and the hotel/restaurant.
Nice modern fully equipped cabin overlooking the beach. This accommodation is suitable for families. Very quiet location just south of Ceduna. Would highly recommend this accommodation.
