Great location near the national park. We saw amazing wildlife on the driveway down to the house (wallaby’s, an Echidna and Possum). House is beautiful and well designed - really comfortable beds, clean and very well equipped kitchen with lots of additional touches (muesli, coffee etc) we really appreciated. Very memorable stay would 100% recommend.

Waterline Holiday Home offers accommodations in Coles Bay, a 4-minute walk from Sandpiper Beach. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking, and free Wifi.
exclusively located, the property overall is a dream holiday accommodation for family or two families with children. Cooking in sunset was also a unique experience to me. The internet access is examplary, as the owner must have put in a lot of thoughts into ensuring guests’ connection to the mundane world. Indeed a highly recommendable spot!
Location, food and people - we could have stayed longer and explored more - the oysters and wine tasting at Devil's Corner were incredible. The restaurant in the lodge was fabulous for drinks and for food - staff were fantastic, friendly and professional.
Coles Bay is the perfect place to stay to explore the Freycinet National Park. There are walks for most abilities, but it helps to have some fitness as there is a lot of steps and climbing. Wineglass Bay and Wineglass Beach are an absolute highlight. Coles Bay is a sleepy town in May so we were able to enjoy it without hustle & bustle of summer crowds.
The town is lovely with places to stop & enjoy the scenery with great food as well Great access to Freycinet which is awesome, the walks, beaches, lookouts etc are well set out and maintained, views are so worth the efforts to get to see them
Coles Bay is a gorgeous place to stay with awesome views of the Hazards and Freycinet National Park. The Wineglass Bay cruise was wonderful, very excited to see dolphins, sea birds and a fur seal sunbathing on the rocks. There are other tourist activities to choose from such as flights for a birds eye view of the spectacular scenery and ATV guided tours It's a great destination for nature lovers, walkers, photography, kyaking and pristine beaches. Enjoy the unspoilt beauty of the area, lunch on fish and chips or dine in a restaurant or tavern. Bare in mind that most eateries close at 8.30 including the well stocked convenience store for any supplies you may need for your stay.
What a stunning spot with the National park and beautiful beaches to explore! We ate at the Iluka Tavern and found all dishes to be delicious - the Ice Creamery is also worth a stop! Staying at studio 2 at Eagle Peaks gave us uninterrupted views of the beach - listening to the waves all night, Emily was an amazing host - we really appreciated the touches in the home and they certainly added to our stay - thanks Emily, we will certainly be back!
While familiar with Coles Bay from childhood holidays, we were only there one night en route to elsewhere this time. Drizzly, spitting rain when we arrived, with low cloud, which progressed to steady, heavy rain overnight, so not much scenery visible! But from prior experience it’s a beautiful area with lots to do if you enjoy hiking, nature or beaches. Would’ve liked to revisit some childhood memories, but at over $40 to enter the National park, it wasn’t worth it just to drive around for an hour or so. I get the whole user-pays concept, and if we were there for a whole day & the weather was good we would’ve invested in a pass, but it was disappointing there wasn’t a cheaper option.
Coles Bay
The location is very good, only few minutes drive to the national park. The food is very tasty and worth a try, both breakfast and dinner!! The bar has a very good view over the beach. You can order a drink and enjoy the sunset at the bar. The room is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. There’s a compact kitchen which has everything you need. Bathroom is spacious. Overall, it’s a very food hotel and I think the quality matches the price.
Coles Bay
Everything we required and more was provided. Kitchen was well stocked with more applicances than we have had at other rentals. The Library and games provided in the toilet area was an interesting extra. Fantasic view from the balcony with the option of using a barbeque or pizza oven to cook our own meals. Equipment and products for cleaning were made available if they were needed.

Walking distance to General Store. Close to everything we wanted to see in Freycinet National Park. Absolutely lovely - highly recommended!

Location was perfect for a 2 night stopover in Coles Bay. Only a short 5 minute drive to the jetty and shops. I now know the shortcut. Was so nice to come back to after the Wineglass Bay Cruise. Was treated to a stunning sunset over the bay. The house felt very homely with lots of extras. A great size for a family.
Coles Bay
Rooms are exactly as pictured with amazing views. such a beautiful, quiet and peaceful spot. Very close to Freycinet National Park. Dinner in on-site restaurant was delicious. A wallaby visited us on our patio. We did not take advantage of the bikes and kayaks provided but probably would have had we stayed longer.
Coles Bay
Absolutely beautiful location, overlooking the mountains and bay. Very close to the hiking start point and all the attractions of the area. The cottage itself is luxury and even has floor heating in the bathroom! Which was a godsend on the chilly nights. The kitchen is well equipped and modern.

Well managed holiday house in Coles Bay region. Pet friendly, the welcome note for our furbaby was particularly a nice touch. It was a cold arrival day but the aircon heating and some light music was already on when we arrived, really make you feel the warmth and hospitality.
