BIG4 Iluka on Freycinet offers guests self catered accommodations just a minutes' walk from the white sand beaches of Coles Bay. A VERY pleasant surprise. Lovely place. Grounds and gardens well thought out. Parking under cover. Everything top rate. Well done.
Located in a waterfront location within Freycinet National Park, this lodge offers secluded cabins in a coastal bush setting, 2 restaurants and a bar. Buffet breakfast is included. The lodge is in an amazing location. Such a welcoming place. The staff were amazing, specially Lucy, Hana and Holly. We took part in the wine maker master classes and had a wonderful experience. We also hired the E-bikes and walked over to Wineglass Bay and Mt Amos. I cannot recommend this place any higher. We LOVED it!
Nestled within thick forest next to Mount Paul and surrounded by a National Park, Freycinet Resort offers private and luxurious accommodations with 360-degree views of The Hazards, Friendly Beaches,... We had a wonderful stay at Freycinet Resort. Our room was beautiful, and the extra touch of complimentary Tasmanian sparkling wine was lovely. The manager, Karen, was always helpful with suggestions and we loved our chats learning about Tasmanian history over breakfast. Will hopefully be back in the future!
Located within 27-acres of bushland, in the heart of the Freycinet Peninsula, Edge of the Bay Resort offers direct access to 3 private beaches. Free WiFi and free parking are provided. A great location with a wonderful view. Very quiet and very clean. Lots of wildlife to see also. Close proximity to Coles Bay. The staff were super friendly. Very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
Beaulieu is located in Coles Bay. Located 2.6 miles from Wineglass Beach, the property has barbecue facilities and free private parking. spacious rooms and we’ll designed property. we loved the big bedrooms and bathroom. good sized kitchen and fabulous view. unfortunately it was a bit cold so didn’t use the balcony. double glazing meant it was very quiet. The driveway to went the front door so getting luggage etc out of our vehicle was easy. we didn’t want to leave.
Located in Coles Bay, within 3.2 miles of Wineglass Beach, Freycinet Sanctuary 5 offers mountain views. It was every thing I wanted. To be able to sit up in bed and look at the hazards in the morning while enjoying a coffee. Unit was clean and very comfortable. The Bed extremely comfortable. Great location. Great views. 😀
The best activity in Coles Bay is the Wineglass Bay Cruise. We had a wonderful day out, nice lunch, great host and managed to see dolphins, seals and a humpback whale. They even lengthened our trip so we could see the whale. Loved it
We had planned to spend time at the beach, and had also booked in for kayaking and a scenic flight. The weather turned bad so we had to cancel all of these things which was a shame. We did the hike to wineglass bay and although it was mostly fogged out it was still beautiful. If the sun had been shining Im sure we would have wanted to stay longer in this spot its a beautiful part of Tassie.
We have been here before. Beautiful beaches abound and nice walks. But this time we decided to take the cruise into wineglass bay. Not a good plan. The sea was a bit choppy and the whole family got sick!. Definitely not doing any cruise any time soon. Sceneries were magic though. Would love to stay longer for walks and beaches. Oh we found a great place for pizzas.
Coles Bay is a great place to visit with its amazing walks and scenery. Pennicott Wine Glass Bay boat cruise is a fantastic trip! walking to Wine Glass Bay is a must to experience the unique granite mountains and formations, the wild life and magnificent views and bush. Also the beautiful granite sand on Wine glass bay and the many other beaches. The light house is a brilliant place for a magestic view into WIne Glass Bay and out into the Ocean. If you are lucky you can see whales from this lookout and there are stationary binoculars to look through. There are many other walks which are all amazing. Pack your gear and go!
Recommend in a heartbeat just beautiful scenery and plenty of activities the boat cruise to wineglass bay is something I’ll never forget very informative awesome crew just fantastic thank you coles bay
I've been to Coles Bay many times as I'm a Tasmanian! Every time you drive towards the Hazards you know you are in a special place. It's beautiful in all kinds of weather and the Hazard mountains are stunning. This time we did the Freycinet Wilderness tour, and we were not disappointed, we saw seals, dolphins, whales, and sea eagles. Walking to the lookout, which has been upgraded, is always a highlight. Highly recommended.
Doesn't look that fantastic on the outside but it really is a gem inside. A very modern self-contained house with a large kitchen, industrial oven, and living room. There is also an outside area with a BBQ. Two large bedrooms with double beds. Amazing closet space (didn't use it but if you are staying for a longer time then you have more than enough storage room). Ensuite in one bedroom and there is another family bathroom. Super clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Short drive to anything in Coles Bay.
The staff were fantastic, very welcoming and informative. I can't express that enough. And they left a chocolate and sparking wine on arrival as it was my birthday - which was a super nice surprise! The stay was comfy and relatively close proximity to the main area.
New property in new development close to Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park opposite play area for children. Newly furnished and deck at 2 sides. Quiet area and we’ll located with 2 convenience stores at Coles Bay (little fresh food) and many pleasant cafes close by.
close to the beach and local (small) shops for dinner and incidental needs like bread and milk. Playground for the kids and BBQ facilities. Highly recommend watching the sunset from the Bay. "Geographie" in Coles Bay is great for a meal but you must book
The position was fantastic with coffee, supermarkets, restaurants etc two minutes stroll away. Easy access to the National Park. Very good facilities including full kitchen and washing machine. Great deck with views over the water to the mountain range.
Great location, with the water at out back door. A short drive to Coles Bay, Freycinet and Bicheno. The property was well appointed, with an expansive deck. The pool table was a good distraction for evening entertainment.
Everything, just everything. I am visiting Coles Bay frequently and LOMA TALO cottage is one of the best stays . Love outside and in door fire places. (wood was supplied). Very clean and private.
Lovely quiet cabin to stay in during our time at the beautiful Freycinet! Comfy beds and well equipped kitchenette. Ros and family were friendly and gave us recommendations for the local area.
The living space was amazing, great to spend time in together. The view was spectacular and it was so close to Freycinet National Park and the amenities at Coles Bay.
Close to cafes, town centre. Short drive to hotel and shops. Great location for Wineglass Bay walks and Frecinet National Park. Great amenities. Warm and clean.
Great place to stay in Coles Bay. The facilities and spa were all fantastic. Very comfy bed and peaceful location for a great sleep after a day out walking.
The studio has clearly been carefully designed to cater for a couple on their holiday away. It was perfect for our short getaway in Coles Bay!
Great location near Freycinet National Park. Room was cozy and comfortable. Spotted bunnies and other wildlife in the area at night.
Fantastic location right next to the water. Lots of room for two friends to stay, beds and bedrooms were comfortable.
Good size old style wood cabin. Water front view of “The Hazards” in the town centre of Coles Bay.
Great views across the bay from the hotel restaurant and its deck.
Biggest highlight was the incredible view of the hazards and wineglass bay from both the living room and main bedroom! Super comfortable bed and couches, great bathroom with a large bath and shower along with two sinks and a heated towel rack. Also large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash for guests to use. Beautiful kitchen with an abundance of cooking supplies and walk in pantry.
A great location with a wonderful view. Very quiet and very clean. Lots of wildlife to see also. Close proximity to Coles Bay. The staff were super friendly. Very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
The most beautiful house in an incredible setting. The house has everything you could possibly want and the location is fab!
