Nestled within thick forest next to Mount Paul and surrounded by a National Park, Freycinet Resort offers private and luxurious accommodations with 360-degree views of The Hazards, Friendly Beaches,... The place is great. The cabin are very cozy and face an amazing view. The staff was very friendly.
Eagle Peaks at Freycinet has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Coles Bay, 6 miles from Wineglass Beach. Given that it was "serve yourself", it was adequate. We are accustomed to this type of service so we always bring fruit, nuts, protein and salad fixings with us.
Located within 27-acres of bushland, in the heart of the Freycinet Peninsula, Edge of the Bay Resort offers direct access to 3 private beaches. Free WiFi and free parking are provided. A great location with a wonderful view. Very quiet and very clean. Lots of wildlife to see also. Close proximity to Coles Bay. The staff were super friendly. Very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
Located in the heart of Coles Bay on Jetty Road, Pebble Shack provides stunning panoramic views of the Freycinet National park and the Hazards. Immaculate presentation (all areas of the property were very clean and very good amenities were provided), exceptional location (magnificent and genuine view of The Hazards from the property, a couple of minutes walking distance to convenience store and cafe), very friendly and helpful hosts who respond very quickly and effectively to guest concerns.
The best activity in Coles Bay is the Wineglass Bay Cruise. We had a wonderful day out, nice lunch, great host and managed to see dolphins, seals and a humpback whale. They even lengthened our trip so we could see the whale. Loved it
We had planned to spend time at the beach, and had also booked in for kayaking and a scenic flight. The weather turned bad so we had to cancel all of these things which was a shame. We did the hike to wineglass bay and although it was mostly fogged out it was still beautiful. If the sun had been shining Im sure we would have wanted to stay longer in this spot its a beautiful part of Tassie.
We have been here before. Beautiful beaches abound and nice walks. But this time we decided to take the cruise into wineglass bay. Not a good plan. The sea was a bit choppy and the whole family got sick!. Definitely not doing any cruise any time soon. Sceneries were magic though. Would love to stay longer for walks and beaches. Oh we found a great place for pizzas.
Coles Bay is a great place to visit with its amazing walks and scenery. Pennicott Wine Glass Bay boat cruise is a fantastic trip! walking to Wine Glass Bay is a must to experience the unique granite mountains and formations, the wild life and magnificent views and bush. Also the beautiful granite sand on Wine glass bay and the many other beaches. The light house is a brilliant place for a magestic view into WIne Glass Bay and out into the Ocean. If you are lucky you can see whales from this lookout and there are stationary binoculars to look through. There are many other walks which are all amazing. Pack your gear and go!
Recommend in a heartbeat just beautiful scenery and plenty of activities the boat cruise to wineglass bay is something I’ll never forget very informative awesome crew just fantastic thank you coles bay
I've been to Coles Bay many times as I'm a Tasmanian! Every time you drive towards the Hazards you know you are in a special place. It's beautiful in all kinds of weather and the Hazard mountains are stunning. This time we did the Freycinet Wilderness tour, and we were not disappointed, we saw seals, dolphins, whales, and sea eagles. Walking to the lookout, which has been upgraded, is always a highlight. Highly recommended.
The most beautiful apartment, with superb views over Coles Bay. Very stylishly furnished. Well equipped for general living & entertaining. Huge balcony with BBQ. Comfortable king bed. Only stayed 2 nights, but could easily have stayed longer. Good pub & restaurant nearby, but recommend booking for meals, as very busy. Recommend the Wineglass Bay cruise with lunch - jetty where catch the catamaran only 5 mins walk away.
Location was excellent...great view over the hazards and Coles Bay...quick walk to the Jetty and to the convenience store, coffee, pizza and Icecream shop. Nice deck. House was well set up and comfortable and clean. We booked a water taxi which took us from the Jetty to Hazards beach and collected us later in the day so that we could fully explore wineglass bay and Hazards beach at our leisure.
Our room was very nice. Bed was comfortable and plenty of space for 2 people. Location is good, with Coles Bay being a short drive up the road and Freycinet National Park a bit further on. Nice views from room although they are blocked a bit by a few trees growing outside the block of rooms we stayed in.
Great location, wake up to great views of the Hazards, Richardsons Beach and Coles Bay. All the facilities you need for a holiday home, including fully equipped kitchen. Everything clean and tidy on arrival. Can easily base yourself here for a few days.
Great location for exploring Freycinet national park. Its also walking distance from the local amenities in Coles Bay and the waterfront. The views over the bay from the balcony are great and its takes no time to then get to the national park.
The unit was very comfortable and roomy. The view was beautiful and a great place to be especially when we were unit-bound because of rain. It is very close to Coles Bay and all the facilities there - especially the ice cream shop!!
The house is wonderful, cosy & has everything you need. 5 different chill out spots if you need it. Magnificent views as well as amazing sunsets. The house is nestled in such a quiet location so close to coles bay.
it was very close to coles bay town, very close to the walking tracks in the National park. the house is big with 2 separate living areas and a huge outdoor space! would highly recommend for groups or families!
The location was bush. It was absolutely beautiful. Much wildlife visiting us on a nightly basis. Very well located to the Coles Bay Village and the entrance to Freycinet Nat Park.
Close to cafes, town centre. Short drive to hotel and shops. Great location for Wineglass Bay walks and Frecinet National Park. Great amenities. Warm and clean.
Location was a drive from Coles Bay, but the apartment was very clean and well maintained. It is across the road from a great park for kids and is very quiet.
It was a new, clean and comfortable. It was close to Freycinet National Park. Nice touches like fresh bread, orange juice and cereal with milk for breakfast.
The Cottage is just a stones throw to the Bay and the view is fantastic. An it is just metres from the main street, for convenience.
Fantastic location right next to the water. Lots of room for two friends to stay, beds and bedrooms were comfortable.
Perfect location! Right on the lake and easy access to wineglass bay and coles bay.
The cabins and their location were fantastic. Staff were friendly.
Close to Freycinet NP.
Amazing location, very high end property. They have everything you could want in a holiday house and more beds were super comfortable with plenty of bedding and linen. We've already booked again for next year.
1. Location 2 Variety of walks 3. sunset drinks on deck 4. Beautiful restaurant 5. Last but not least The wonderful staff.
