Dora Creek is a very relaxing and pleasant place to stay. The views of the water from our accommodation was amazing and there was a great deck of the back of the home where you could sit and have a drink or two and relax and enjoy the water views and all the wildlife that come to visit and people travelling along the water. Excellent location for water activities including canoeing, paddle boarding, kayaks, etc... There is a pontoon at the Anchorage accommodation where you can fish from or just sit and take in the views. My friends and myself were playing in a NSW masters squash tournament at the Watagan Squash and wellness Centre which was just on the other side of the river, so it was only a 5 minute drive. Unfortunately though there was no footpath to travel across the bridge if you want to walk there and no space on the road to walk across as the bridge only accommodates for vehicle or push bike access and is quite a busy road. So then there is also no way of reaching the train station by walking to it from the Anchorage accommodation. The Watagan squash and wellness Centre is a great place for a game of squash or to have a massage and enjoy the facilities that it offers. We ate at the Dora Creek Workers Club for our squash social night and they offer delicious Chinese meals and banquets and also some Australian meals. I would stay at this accommodation again as it is in the perfect location for the area and accessing the river for water activities or to just go for a drive and explore the area and the national parks.

Great place to stay summer would be lovely there. Didn't like the rules very strict about people coming to visit. We were there for a funeral we came from Queensland so family weren't allowed to visit. So probably wouldn't stay there because of this reason.
