This motel is set in some beautiful gardens away from the main town of Lilydale. The rooms are very big with a gigantic double, double bed, It has to be seen to be believed.
The room is equipped with everything except a microwave. The bathroom was spacious and very clean.
It is a few kilometres from any towns, and on a hill, so you do need a car to access the towns, but delivery options are given as part of the room information.

Only stayed one night as it was close to the Puffing Billy we were going on the next day. Reception was friendly, room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfy... A short walk away was the hotel with a great buffet.. Would definitely stay there again if we were in that part of Victoria..

Ferntree Gully is the nearest large centre with shopping as you are heading up to Upwey, Kalista, Olinda and Sassafras. On the highway, it has the 3 big shopping centres, lots of different shops and a great bakery called the Quarry which does quality sourdough and pastries. We use it as a base to visit family in the area when we aren't up for spending $$$ on bnb's in the Dandenongs.

Great apartment.
Great apartment. All amenities supplied including washer and dryer
We stayed there as we were visiting family.
Couldn't have picked anything nicer.
Shops within walking distance and also takeaways.
2 good size bedrooms and had a foldaway bed in extra too.
Would def stay there again if visiting

Fern Tree Gully leads to the Dandenong Ranges. A great tourist destination with outstanding scenery, small little villages to visit and loads of cafes and restaurants. Lots to see and do over a few days stay.

Every time we have travelled to Melbourne we have perfected to stay in Ferntree Gully but first time at Life Style Appartments which we now will book when we return to Melbourne, excellent accommodation with self service and able to cook own meals, with washing machine and dryer provided.
Was able to book additional night, manager’s were excellent in managing to fit us in, excellent service, highly recommend.

Its a good price for a place to stay if you are visiting the area. The room is a well sized with the necessary ammenities such as iron, ironing board, TV, Kettle, Fridge, Aircon etc. The Bathrooms are supplied with toiletries and good towels. There is a security gate now installed since the last time we stayed here. Its not far from Woolworths, nearby quarry bakery and there is a hotel restaurant nearby. They do basic delivery such as burgers etc if you are wanting to stay in.

I have stayed there several weeks in a row whilst looking for a new vehicle. The staff at the hotel are amazing, as are the staff at the Motel reception.
Rooms are clean, and the location is great, as is the gated car park for guest vehicle parking.
Highly recommend this to people who want comfort at affordable prices. Room service from the hotel is a plus if you don't feel like going across for dinner.

The convenience of having a hotel in the motel and one so close to each other we could indulge in a buffet club life without having to drive so you could enjoy a really good night out
