While I expected the hotel to be older in style, (i used to frequent the place as a younger person before the renovation in about 1995) the upstairs is a nice mix of vintage and new. I had the bathroom to myself the first two nights - water pressure was fantastic and HOT. Shampoo etc was fantastic that it was already in there. Bed was comfy and better than many places I've slept throughout the world! Really enjoyable stay. I come to visit my parents here and this gave us some room :) totally recommend.

We were met by the owner who took us straight to our room. We were so impressed at how immaculately presented the rooms were. It is honestly the cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed at. It is clear how much love and care the owners have put into delivering as exceptional experience for all. Little personal touches like extra milk, water bottles and mini chocolates in the fridge were greatly appreciated and a huge hit with our daughter. The extra-large freezer section in the fridge was unexpected and meant we were able to buy some extra groceries before we departed. Before we departed, we had the chance to meet the owners two dogs who were so gorgeous. We will definitely be back again and recommend a stay if you are in the area.

EXCELLENT clean rooms, quaint place, pool area was beautiful with sitting area, very homey, you could see the pride taken in upkeep of the place, excellent staff, had a great sleep ..lots of pressure in the shower you parked right outside your room which was a nice change didn't have to haul out suitcases in the room

Park staff were excellent , park is clean and tidy, pool was great spa was as well.
