Hotel in Myrtleford
Located in Myrtleford, Myrtleford Hotel has a restaurant, bar, garden, and free WiFi. Martin is a great guy that went the extra mile to make our stay a great one, allowing me to park my motorcycle off-street. Big room, nice shower, comfy bed, good AC and power plugs all over the bed (nice location). The dinner was great (the dishes portions could be a bit more generous) but the dessert was amazing. Overall, super clean, nice sheets and nice pillows. Two bottles of complimentary water 🙂

Location was the best I've ever stayed in, beautiful, quiet, green surroundings, lots of birds and very peaceful. Breakfast great. No complaints about anything.
We were visiting family who live in Myrtleford, and it is a great town. Half an hour closer to Melbourne and Albury that the more popular Bright with plenty to do in town and nearby, without the "manic/crazy" of Bright. Accommodation, food and beverage not as hard to get into or as expensive as Bright either, and the town is quiter at night. Some excellent wineries (with one in town) within 30 to 60 minutes drive, including the King Valley. Have room in the boot for some Italian varieties! For activites, there is plenty to see and do and a Rail Trail for safe cycling.
Convenient to stay in Mytleford to catch up with friends, who live in the area. Found great meals at the Ovens hotel, staff very friendly. Avoid Mytleford Monday and Tuesday, most eating places are closed.
Myrtleford Motel on Alpine really understand the customer need. We really had a very pleasant stay there. Very recommended for who don't want to spent much for hotel while visiting Mount Hotham. The "unique" Myrtleford Park just opposite the motel. KEEP THE GOOD WORK!!
It’s a good place to use as a base for visiting Beechworth, Bright, Mount Buffalo and surrounds. It’s less crowded than Bright and has a bit more to offer than Beechworth, in my humble opinion. For food lovers, I strongly recommend Ox and Hound Bistro in Beechworth and The Old Factory in Myrtleford. Gum Tree Pies in Beechworth and Bright were great too.
Lovely township with access to scenic bike and walking trails with many attractions along route. Great Bakeries, cafes (Bastoni Pizzeria, Cafe Fez), wineries (Boynton, Feathertop) and restaurants (Club Savoy) all within a 30min walk or 10min bike ride from the accommodation.
Myrtleford is a great place to base yourself. There is so much to see and do within 20-30 mins of here. Highly recommend the Happy Valley Hotel for a meal - just out of Myrtleford, cute and quaint and the food is amazing. Pepo Farms (pumpkin seeds) is a real treat - all the staff are amazing and very proud of what they do there. Best pumpkin seeds and oils I've ever tasted - but save your pennies for this one because you will want to buy everything! Red Ramia in Myrtleford is a wonderful place to have a Moroccan Meal and then spend time browsing through all they have to offer. Wineries galore around the area as well as some beautiful walks/hikes. The countryside is stunning - definitely a beautiful part of Victoria.

Great location. Air con was perfect. bed very comfy. Motel was quiet. We had degustation lunch at Gapsted winery and then wine tasting and excellent coffee at Michelini Winery where we were well served by Gloria. Dinner was at Buffalo Hotel and the friendly service from Brendan saw us stay there until midnight. Breakfast was at Alpine Gate Cafe, then some local shopping before late check out and stopping past Billy Button Cellar Door for wine and cheese tasting on our way home.

Place contains nice Ikea furniture and utensils. 1-2mins Walking distance to Myrtleford town. Less than 30mins drive to Bright. I would surely stay here again. Nella is very responsive to my queries. Thank you Nella, it's been a joyful stay and we all loved it

Cindy was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The surrounding country is beautiful and waking up to that view was magic. We sat on our balcony watching the blue wrens and hoping for a peek at the local echidna. All in all a perfect way to counteract the after effects of Lockdown. Handy for Beechworth and Bright as well as Myrtleford. Loved it.

The house had plenty of room for our family group of 8 adults and 2 children. The kitchen had a large dining table and there was plenty of crockery and cutlery. The new free WiFi was a welcome addition and worked well. The house was located in easy walking distance to the town centre which had two supermarkets. Key entry was very easy with a key lockbox. Great for a family getaway.
