Lovely chalet that was a good generous size. Lots of books, information and homely touches. Loved the information booklet about the area. Had aircon with heating and cooling which was great!

We loved the sweeping views, the privacy, the location and the facilities. Everything needed was provided, even logs for the cheery wood fire. The BBQ on the deck was very convenient and, in warmer weather, it would be pleasant to eat outside.

I was contacted by the host and informed on how and where to access the lock box. Very helpful instructions. The Host communicated with us from the get go and this was very helpful. The cottage is close to cafes and the Bakery in Mt Barker is to die for.

    Beautiful location with a stunning view of the Porongurups from the verandah. Very comfortable beds, decent kitchen facilities. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Complimentary fresh bread and eggs provided the first morning. The cottages are well spaced out, so a very quiet and private stay.

    The host has really thought of everything. Very comfortable little house, we made use of the BBQ and kitchen which was well equipped. Sitting on the verandah overlooking the vineyard of the neighbouring property with the Porongurups in the background….absolutely stunning! We also visited the nearby winery Castlerock (walking distance) for a wine tasting which was nice.

    Quirky accommodation in lovely bushland setting. Chalet is very well set up with comfortable furniture and great kitchen facilities. Our hostess was very friendly and provided extra touches such as a candle and a few provisions which we appreciated. Location gives good access to iconic local walks.

    great location and the lighting was very good. plenty of wood and fire starting accessories .clean tidy and comfortable ,well stocked with utensils for the kitchen and the bed was very comfortable .
