We had a great stay in Broken Hill. Easy check-in. Large clean house. Located just around the corner from main street restaurants, bars and sights. 5 minute to shopping centres and supermarket. Glen was a great host and made sure we settled in comfortably.

We had a very full week in Broken Hill and were glad to fall into very comfortable beds at the end of the day. The kitchen was very well equipped. House clean & tidy with just enough furniture, not cluttered. Easy to orientate ourselves from the location. Reasonably quiet.

I had a trailer that didnt fit within the property, but the host had a secure lot next to the motel so we were able to secure our trailer there. Very grateful!

Well worth the trip.

Well worth the trip. Lots to see and do, great pub with an excellent vibe, good atmosphere, drinks and food well priced for a remote location and the bakery up the road was excellent too. Its a must see.

I liked the remote location but also having everything you need. quality of accomodation and food. friendly staff who went above and beyond. i like how unique the pub is and is set up for more than just drinking. Donkeys roaming around town is amazing, and going in winter was so nice as the foggy morning and fresh air is definetly what we needed. felt very homely and welcoming. Oh and i loved that the accomodation area was fenced, could let me kids run and play and not worry about them running out onto the road.

Visit/stay with the expectation that this hotel is in an outback location and you will be very pleasantly surprised. Make sure you visit the Mundi Mundi look out at sunset and just wonder around and relax

Silverton has numerous old and abandoned buildings which...

Silverton has numerous old and abandoned buildings which make for great photographic subjects by both day and night. There is a walking trail to the remaining track of the old railway line as well as the abandoned Umberumberka mine. Sunset at the Mundi Mundi lookout is worth one evening. The pub has good meals and cold drinks on a hot day. You will need Telstra mobile coverage as Optus and Vodafone are not covered in the town itself.

Quirky, quiet, fun spot to visit or stay.

Quirky, quiet, fun spot to visit or stay. Publican and staff at the Hotel were friendly, helpful and good for a chat. Motel rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel, Art galleries, museums all in walking distance from each other. Sunset on Mundi Mundi outlook over the plains just a short drive down the road. Highly recommend it all.

What a great place!

What a great place! Hubby and I visited Silverton for the first time, as hubby is a huge Mad Max fan and a visit to the Mad Max museum was our priority. Loved every minute of the museum and well worth a visit. We also visited the art gallery and stayed a night at the Silverton Hotel which was fantastic. Great pub grub and the accommodation was perfect. One night wasn't enough so we will get back there one day as we want to do the heritage trail and just hang out at the pub for another day. Great atmosphere and Broken Hill is only a 20 minute drive. We couldn't get internet access (we are with Vodafone) so be mindful of that.
