this “apartment” is a hidden gem wrapped with thoughtful amenities! John gave me a tour of the property and when I mentioned it was a bit cold, he presented me with heaters in the bedroom (plus a heating blanket already laid) plus a nice heater in the living room … in 2 minutes, i was warm and toasty! The bathroom had lovely lavender soap which I totally adore … lovely view of the ocean and mountain from the kitchen/ dining room area …. Overall, a great stay with parking in the property and a variety of items for a delicious continental breakfast!

Brand new and very tastefully decorated. Has a reclining couch which is perfect to relax in . Many food items supplied which was a nice surprise and really appreciated the free range eggs! On my first night I was given a bowl of the most beautiful Greek chicken and lemon soup . I was working in Sorell so only a 6 minute drive. Had access to Netflix which was great in the down period for tv ratings. Have rebooked for January . One of the nicest places I have stayed in Tassie

Twelve 30 is truly our home away from home. Michele made my son and me feel as if we were returning to our own beds. The accommodation is clean, welcoming, and private. We arrived to the delightful aroma of freshly baked bread, pumpkin soup, and an enticing display of breakfast treats. The main bedroom is large and inviting, with an extremely comfortable bed and linen. The second bedroom made my thirteen-year-old feel secure, comfortable, and at home, allowing him to fall asleep within minutes. Twelve 30 has gone above and beyond to ensure you can leave home and arrive at another location without any hassle. The location is extremely close to all landmarks, allowing you to fully embrace the Tasmanian life. We will be staying with Twenty30 with pleasure in the near future.

Close to Hobart city and surrounding tourist attractions. Sorell is a good town to stay in with groceries, chemist, park, cafés, fast food take away and plenty of free parking. Easy to walk or drive around in and just a short 20 min drive to visit busy Hobart CBD area.

Sorell is an excellent 'way-point' between the historic Richmond township, the Tasman Peninsula and the Tasmanian East Coast, not too far out of Hobart and quite close to the airport. Excellent fuel prices and several good dining options.

Great place to stop over.

Great place to stop over. As close as you can get to Port Arthur and still be in a reasonable Town with most services and still get things without the tourist price mark up. Also close to Richmond and Hobart Airport without the busyness or price of Hobart.

Loved the cottage clean tidy was perfect for our stay . Very easy to find , instructions for check in were very clear , Recommend breakfast at velvet cafe great food and service. We were only over night wanting to be close to the airport for travel early in the morning . Didn’t have time to explore Sorell but will definitely be back .

Sorrell as a town isn't much of tourist area, but what is nice is it is only minutes from the Hobart Airport, and was centrally located between Bruny Island, the Tasman Penninsula and Maria Island
