Tocumwal is a nice relaxed town.

Tocumwal is a nice relaxed town. Great pubs, we got shuttle buses there and then back to the motel which makes it really easy if you want to have a beer or 2. Lots of yum places to eat, breaky pizza at the old bank is not to be missed. They had a great market on when we were there, lots of stalls, great variety of things to buy. I will definitely be going back to Tocumwal

Further to my previous review and reading others reminded me...

Further to my previous review and reading others reminded me about a few things. On arrival there was a terrible smell in the bathroom that came and went during our stay. Apparently caused by the drains. I requested that some drain cleaner be used. The carpet might not have been dirty but certainly very stained. There was a broken leg on one of the beds and the freezer needed defrosting. However we would still recommend this Motel to others as overall it was pretty good and the location good.

My son and I travelled to Tocumwal to spend time with my parents for Christmas, we really like Tocumwal the most annoying thing is when it is in peak holiday seasons which we have stayed many times, it is extremely difficult to get internet service.

The aviation museum was what I really wanted to see, and I wasn't disappointed. Well worth the drive. I was disappointed that there was no gliding to try, but that is only available on weekends, mainly during summer. The bakery in town has great coffee and pastries. Tocumwal is a great spot for a visit.

Tocumwal is a pleasant town on the banks of the Murray River...

Tocumwal is a pleasant town on the banks of the Murray River on the New South Wales side. It has a variety of dining options, other retail outlets and several hotels/motels. There are good walking tracks along the river on both sides and some nice sandy beaches.

The tent was spacious, the bed was comfy, the 1950s style...

The tent was spacious, the bed was comfy, the 1950s style caravan bathroom was gorgeous and the outdoor kitchen was fun, yet functional. We had a wonderful time enjoying the peaceful seclusion of the area, and even managed to explore the water area with the pedal boat provided to guests. Really enjoyed our time and plan to come back!

We had an exceptional stay here and the owners were just lovely. I was worried about arriving slightly late but they assured me that it would be fine and they even turned the heater on for me so I had a warm welcome. The place was exceptionally clean and very well located in proximity to the ‘Sunshine Vintage’ shop in town that specifically came to Tocumwal for. 11/10 for our stay…it was perfect!

Our family of 7 enjoyed a unique and memorable long weekend at this farm house, which is only 10 minutes from the lovely Tocumwal town and Murray River. We were impressed by the amazingly clear night sky, golden sunset, quiet farming surroundings without artificial light or sound! Host Sara was welcoming, friendly, responsive and helpful!

Supurb customer service. Travelling with a group of motorcyclists, travelling through heavy rain and arrived soggy and cold. Without needing to ask, arrangements were made for us to spread out and dry off and get us and our bikes further out of the weather. Recommendations for dinner at the nearby Terminus Hotel were spot on.
