The breakfast in the morning was amazing. Can't speak highly enough of this place. = the villas are central in town, walking distance to pubs, club, river, park, shops.
Set on the river, brilliant to step out your front door and be able to stroll the river on your doorstep.

A convenient stopover point on trip from Sydney to Adelaide.
A convenient stopover point on trip from Sydney to Adelaide. A fair distance to travel on the first day, leaving relatively easy run into Adelaide on the second. Good pub-style food a the country club.

It is a great place to stay when travelling.
It is a great place to stay when travelling. The accommodation is great and the Toolybuc Hotel is a great place to have dinner. It has a lovely park with play equipment on the river. We plan our trips around Toolybuc. 1/2 a days drive from Adelaide makes it great for the first stop from or the last stop to Adelaide. Lovely little place.

Love the beautiful views over the golf course.
Love the beautiful views over the golf course. Often see kangaroos.
Some magnificent gum trees. One of the prettiest bridges in Australia with the road leading too and from the bridge lined with some of the most beautiful and majestic river gums you will ever see.

It's a little gem of a place, and telling so many people who have never heard of the place. Our motel was great and the hotel next door was fantastic.
A nice walk along the river. The old bridge so lovely just across the road, travel across and then be into another state.

A small township but enough facilities for an overnight stop...
A small township but enough facilities for an overnight stop to or from Adelaide. Has a few options for evening meals and a nice riverwalk to stretch the legs. Great parks for the kids and the mini golf at the sports club was fun as well.

Loved this place, will definitely come back, short walk to the river, short walk to the sporting club, the meal we had at the country club hotel was absolutely delicious 😋, the villa had everything we need for our stay highly recommend

Spacious and comfy room. Excellent location on the golf course and walking distance to the local Sporting Club (drinks / meals) or the Country Club Hotel which is excellent for meals also.
