The Sebel Yarrawonga Silverwoods features a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center and bar in Yarrawonga. With a garden, the property also has a tennis court, as well as a terrace. We stayed overnight at the Sebel Yarrawonga after I proposed to my (now) fiancée. The location is truly picturesque and the accommodation and food were great. However, what really stood out for us was the fantastic interactions that we had with each member of the staff - both at the reception and at Stock and Barrel. The team was aware that we had just gotten engaged and went out of their way to make the night (and us) feel special. They absolutely exceeded all expectations in this regard and we were both enormously thankful for the experience. Will definitely recommend the Sebel Yarrawonga to anyone looking for a little getaway.
Offering free WiFi, a bar and a restaurant, Burkes Hotel Motel is located in the heart of Yarrawonga. Guests enjoy free on-site parking. The property is 10 minutes' walk from Lake Mulwala. Super all round motel restaurant etc. v friendly, central great with child
Belmore Motor Inn offers accommodations in Yarrawonga. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Each room includes a flat-screen TV and DVD player.... Breakfast very good, a little too much for me. The owner was very friendly and helpfull. I would be happy to stay there again at any time. Thank you, David
When we arrived Rose the owner showed us personally to our room and explained the menu choices at the fabulous restaurant. Our king sized bed, large modern remolded bedroom and beautiful bath were all amazing. The staff were friendly and courteous and the meals for both 2 nights. My husband loved the seafood platter and I loved the satay chicken. Location was the middle of Yarrawonga and we loved it so much.!!
Great location, Cafes in particular Tames Café , Loved the Terminus Pub, had a small pool table & the food was amazing too. for me in particular they had very tasteful GF Menu. Very friendly people. Great for walks. will come back for sure, to see the Lake as it was empty while we were there but very interesting & pretty all the same.
The lake was being cleaned out whilst we were there and the number of tree stumps and discarded tree limbs was very unsightly. They may have kept the stumps and trees in the lake for a reason however it was almost ghost like in appearance and really turned me off the place. However, the township was bustling and the range of shops and services were good. I can see why this place is very popular in the summer season but as I said, it looked unsightly when I was there.
The place is stunning. sensational rooms, amazing grounds , amazing bar and restaurant and as for the staff - simply exceptional. Over and above was the theme for us during our stay. Cannot wait to come back.
Love Yarrawonga .... lovely little friendly town !!! Clean waterfront area, great walks too !! 6 Pizzas from atheneum disappeared very quickly on Friday night and were enjoyed by the ten of us !! Yarrawonga hotel was packed and served up fantastic meals for us on Saturday night too! Highly recommend.. We’ll be back!!!!
Yarrawonga has it all, lovely friendly town on the Victorian and NSW border with great accommodation (Central Yarrawonga Motor Inn) pubs (Burkes) cafes (Tame and Hard Luck), restaurants, fast foods, pizza, Thai (Th Thai, the best, yum), fish and chips, local bakery, Chinese noodle and dumplings, kebabs, Woolworths shopping centre, BWS outlet and its closeness to Lake Muwala (wow surreal), the Yarrawonga Weir (amazing) is a must see. If you like a drop of wine, quaint rustic Rutherglen village and its wineries is for you (Campbells is the best winery, avoid Stanton and Killeen it has a $10 surcharge to taste, refundable on purchasing, seriously not sure if their wines are worth trying, if their charge you to taste), Rutherglen is perfect for wine tasting and a day out for sightseeing.
We went to Yarrawonga for a long weekend away during the winter month's. The hotel was dated, but practical. We quite often like the older style hotel/motel's because they are roomier and have better positioned, more convenient lounge suite's and dining setting's. Close to Mulwala lake. and local township amenities. Plenty of Pub's and club's
We stayed in one of the ‘motel’ cabins, just near the boat ramp. It was a nice new-ish cabin and would definantly stay again. We had a lot of friends staying around Yarrawonga and it seemed like we got the best stay for the price. Walking distance from town but not too close that it’s busy. Coffee van and hot jam donuts from 7am at the food van was great too!
All rooms have been totally refurbished to a high standard and the bed was most comfortable. Also, the bedroom and bathroom were exceptionally clean. Although located on the Murray Valley Highway, the room was very quiet. Additionally, the location is excellent as it is within walking distance to the centre of Yarrawonga.
James was such a pleasure to deal with. He apologised that our room wasn't ready when we had arrived as they had been fully booked the night before. This was not a problem as we were able to park the car, then walk around the town centre of Yarrawonga, down to the Lake and enjoy a drink relaxing.
The waterfront location was fantastic, and the playground at the front door was great for the kids. The apartment was lovely, with an upstairs balcony and extra lounge room for the kids. Everything was very clean. You really feel at home. I would highly recommend Lake Breeze.
The apartment is beautifully decorated and spacious. It is perfectly located in the main street of Yarrawonga and close to pubs and restaurants. Communication with Glennis was super easy and she responded quickly. Would absolutely stay here again at our next visit.
In the heart of the town, the staff was so friendly the room was clean meals in the restaurant were excellent and low prized I will stay at Burkes Hotel every time I go to Yarrawonga from now on its even family-friendly, THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT
Well designed, comfortable and relaxing hotel/resort. The pool is spectacular. We didn't need to go anywhere to make the most of our weekend away. Great breakfast and dinner at the restaurant.
A gem! The tribute to thoroughbred racing is superb. The hotel is maintained very well, and the rooms spotless clean, comfortable and cozy.
GREAT BIG BREAKFAST ,BETTER THAN MOST IN YARRAWONGA, COULD NOT FAULT QUALITY OR PRICE WELL DONE
Location was very good, walking distance to Yarrawonga's town centre.
The pool is wonderful and was a welcome relief on a hot day. The bedrooms bright and roomy. Kitchen facilities and layout was beyond what we expected. We can’t wait to come back.
Staff were excellent Great little park
