The hotel's small garden is very peaceful here. We really enjoyed eating there and having breakfast. Bist center is just a 4-minute drive away, a great place.There are nice cafes and restaurants here. Our hotel room was spacious enough and the bed was very comfortable.

The room is really spacious. The bed is really comfortable. The heating system is wonderful. We thought it would be cold at night but we even had to open the window for a while. The breakfast is really satisfying. Special thanks to the lady who was on duty on 6th July in the morning. She was really nice and helpful.

Stay here if you get the chance! We flew in for a local aeroplane meet and stumbled on this beautiful B&B. Everything from the design of the building to the thread count of the sheets was perfection. The owner is absolutely lovely, the breakfast he made was outstanding & we even had a chance to bond with the hound of the house. The best place to stay in Diest and a fantastic place to stay in Flemish Brabant in general. High standards, from the room to breakfast, and great hospitality by the hosts that make you feel right at home. Rooms: spacious room, very tastefully done with a large, confy bed and confy bedding, very high standard bathroom with a mirror all the way up to the ceiling, air-con, blinds on all windows including the skylight, built-in wardrobe with enough hangers and a (very stylish) separate bathroom. The TV can be moved around in the room freely. Hotel facilities: both rooms are adjacent to a veranda and the garden, both very cozy and inviting. Ideal to work there (solid WiFi and plugs nearby), also due to the adjacent kitchen with free coffee and tea. Every room also comes with a fridge in the kitchen where you can buy drinks for cheap (minibar equivalent). Location: very central in Diest, everything nearby from shopping, supermarket to various parks. Swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts also nearby. Everything is walkable. Multiple good restaurants are also within walking distance. Parking is also not a problem. Breakfast: a very special breakfast made with great attention to detail and served at the table every day. Nothing to be desired, from fresh smoothies and orange juice to good coffee, artisan cheeses, fresh fruits, changing joghurts, a large variety of breads and baked goods. They also served fresh egg dishes/breakfast eggs according to your preference (every day). It doesn't get better than that! The best part: the increadibly hospitable hosts, Annick and Jeroen! My family stayed in Diest for one night attending a music...

My family stayed in Diest for one night attending a music festival in Werchter the following day. England were playing DR congo in the world cup ,and we watched as the only 3 England fans watching on the big screen in the lovely town square. Belgium were playing later and The locals were very welcoming .couple of older gents in one of the busy bars chatted with us like old friends'helping sort out our travel plans saving us an hour and a few quid!

Diest very clean and lively, there was a music festival...

Diest very clean and lively, there was a music festival meaning many streets were closed to traffic. Did not see eberything due to the 33+ heat! Nicky Catwalk Resturant for Ribs and Steaks, "t Wafelhuisje for waffles. Very easy to walk around. Although many streets cobbled. Up hill to Citadel was hard in the 35 degree heat. .

Diest is really understated.

Diest is really understated. There are some lovely historic parts of the town to explore, the Grand Place has some very good restaurants and it's surrounded by beautiful countryside. It's a very calm, peaceful place to visit. Our favourite restaurant was Nicky's Catwalk in the Grand Place.

Diest is a charming small town in Belgium that offers...

Diest is a charming small town in Belgium that offers everything a family could need. During our 8-day stay, we enjoyed the beautiful old town, filled with cozy cafés, restaurants, and pubs, as well as lovely local stores alongside major brands. The town is surrounded by clean air and lush greenery, making it a refreshing place to relax. Halve Maan Park was a highlight, with its outdoor pool and sand beach, perfect for family fun. The park also offers golf, children’s playgrounds, and free access to most areas, including parking in the nearby forest. One of the most fascinating aspects of Diest is the Beguinage, a UNESCO-protected site dating back to the 13th century. The history of these communities, founded by single women who supported and protected each other, is truly inspiring. Diest's excellent location also makes it a convenient base for exploring other cities, with a train station that connects directly to the heart of Brussels. The people of Diest are incredibly polite, welcoming, and laid-back, which made our experience even more enjoyable.

The stay was excellent; I'll definitely book again in the future. The bedrooms are very comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was also very good, but my highest praise goes to the host, Andre. He is a very nice person, and you'll love meeting Nox. My stay was during a work trip, and at the end of the day, it felt like coming back home rather than a hotel room experience. I recommend this accommodation 100%.

It's such a beautiful tranquil building, so quiet and calm. Our room was gorgeous (suite). The breakfast is truly excellent and good value. Staff very helpful. Diest is delightful, unspoilt, not at all touristy and has lots of great restaurants and cafes. This hotel is a real gem in a gorgeous town. We will be back with our bicycles to stay and explore the trails.
