Right infront the balcony you may see the Belogradchik castle, which is very beautiful during the day and night. The room and bathroom were clean and roomy. The tweenbed was very comfortable. The stuff was very polite. Also the COVID-19 measurements were perfect. In the restaurant they were cleaning with disinfectant after each customer, also there was a disinfectant on every table and the tables were separated with more than 2 meters.

Castle Cottage Bed & Breakfast is set in Belogradchik and is 820 ft from Belogradchik Rocks and Kaleto fortress. It is a divine place. It exceeded my expectations. Everything was superb: the hospitable hosts, the location just under the wall of the fortress, the view on the rocks from the balcony, the spotless cleanliness, the beautiful design of the villa, the tasty plentiful home-made bulgarian breakfast in the garden, the proximity to the caves and the nice smile of Zoya - our hostess. Hotel Fort o Bel, Hotel Skalite, and Family Hotel The Rocks got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Belogradchik.
Many families visiting Belogradchik loved staying at Hotel Fort o Bel, Family Hotel The Rocks, and Hotel Skalite.
I would like to come back and stay at least for a week. So much to see. Incredible place. I think it is a good idea to connect with someone local and to ask him to show us the best places and to tell us about local fairy tales and myths. I hope to come back soon.
The rocks are amazing, the fortress impressive. A small, sleepy town in the middle of gorgeous natural wonders. Nearby are several caves that are must sees including the Megura and Venetsa. Restaurant Mislen Kamak has a fabulous view of the rocks, delicious traditional Bulgarian food, friendly staff, and very reasonable prices.
We loved the Belogradchik fortress, the views of the rocks and the Magura cave (although they didn't provide us a guide as we were told they would). Not many people outside of our host, the waitress as Pri Ivan, and a guy at the end of Magura cave can speak English so a bit hard to get by if you don't know Bulgarian or Russian, but the nature and views definitely were worth it!
The location is amazing and I was surprised by how easy it was to get good food and drink in such a small town. I recommend Mislen Kamak (from the city square, go past the Skelite hotel and uphill). The main problem is that the town is clearly past its peak. Many places struggle and some roads are in dire need of maintenance. I hope the town will recover some of its past greatness. It's a great place; it's just struggling cause it's quite remote. I recommend the fortress of course, but be careful and consider opting out of climbing "First plate". It can be dangerous.
I love this place - the rocks I mean! The view is breathtaking! There are other sites to visit when there - caves like Magura and Venetza. Vidin is 40km away and Serbia as well. So Belogradchik is a good place to stay and travel around. The only restaurant worth eating (because of the food) is Pri Ivan - Really good food! The other one - for the view (food is more or less ok) is Mislen Kamak.
We stayed for 8 days and never run out of things to do. Whether it was walking up through the rocks to sit at the café for a cappuccino, driving through the mountains to the Serbian border to find a waterfall, visiting a cave in Oroshets and generally waving hello to some of the locals travelling on horse and carts!
We liked the amplacement of the hotel, with a great view of the mountains, thee indoor pool and the restaurant.
